Mandara Manor, early in the morning, the sky was shrouded in dense clouds, with a gentle breeze carrying light rain sweeping through. The heavy iron gates were tightly shut, and through the thin rain mist, one could see that all the doors and windows of the entire castle were either closed or covered with curtains. Even the figures of the bodyguards and servants seemed to have been swept away by a typhoon. The whole manor appeared lifeless, oppressive, and suffocating.
A few media reporters stationed outside the perimeter of Mandara Manor wandered around in raincoats, hoping to scoop some news. But after camping out for several days, they discovered nothing of significance. No one from the manor ventured out, and no guests visited. It seemed completely cut off from the world.
