Mo Daoyan felt a breeze pass over his head; before he could react, his headscarf was already snatched away by Old Lady Mo.
His hair had been shaved off by his wife, and he hadn't had a chance to look at himself in the mirror yet. Still, he could imagine that he didn't look good at all. Seeing his mother's horrified expression, Mo Daoyan felt hurt. He quickly grabbed the headscarf and wrapped it back around his head, muttering, "No matter how bad it looks, it's still better than yours. After all, mother's bald forever; son's bald temporarily, it'll grow back eventually."
Old Lady Mo felt a sting; she blamed her current predicament on that wretched woman, Madam Xie.
"As a son, not helping your mother vent her anger and instead mocking her—are you really my son?" Old Lady Mo glared at Mo Daoyan with her sharp triangular eyes.
"Mother's implying I should go beat Madam Xie?"
"Exactly, that wretched woman won't know fear until she gets a proper beating."
