The servants exchanged glances, at a loss for a moment, before some quicker-witted maids immediately sprang into action and helped the continually wailing Madam Wang to her feet.
Among them was a maid who was a bit of a dimwit, the kind that lacks common sense. Suddenly, she approached Madam Wang, shouting in astonishment, "Hey! Madam Wang, what on earth is going on? How did you suddenly whoosh out from inside like that? I thought I was seeing things! I never expected it to be you, madam!"
While talking, she also gestured wildly, her expression animated with excitement.
"Get lost, you blind, useless dog of a servant!"
Madam Wang had been thrown out by the guards, a mix of embarrassment and anger boiling within her! The maid was bringing up exactly what she didn't want to be reminded of, basically courting death.
"I'm only saying what really happened, why are you scolding me?" The foolish girl added insult to injury.
