Selenne's voice carried one last time across the silverstone courtyard.
"That concludes what you need to see today. You've been shown the primary blocks, the facilities, and the grounds. More will come in due time, but for now—this is enough."
The group stirred, a quiet wave of relief and subdued chatter threading through them. Some were already shifting their weight, clearly imagining the respite of their dorms after the long morning of walking and listening.
But then—
"Archmage Selenne?"
A boy stepped forward from the cluster of students, his expression earnest, though faintly sheepish under the weight of her gaze. He bowed his head slightly before asking, "Where… where will we eat?"
For the first time all morning, a brief silence followed her, and then—just barely—the faintest flicker of a rueful smile touched her lips.
"…I had neglected to mention that."
