"There are some minor troubles, but they can be resolved." Bramo dodged the topic, "How about you? You haven't looked well lately."
There was a few seconds of silence on the other end of the phone. "Caesar... is coming back to stay for a few days next week. His mother said she wants him to spend more time with Bruto and Maria, to cultivate a brotherly bond."
"Does Victor know?"
"He said the child's matters are for me to handle."
Handle it herself? How to handle it? Strictly disciplining Caesar would be seen as being intolerant of her husband's illegitimate child, while ignoring the situation would allow Bruto and Maria to be bullied. Reporting to Victor would make her appear incompetent as the mistress of the house.
"Do you need me to do anything?" Bramo asked directly.
"No, focus on your own affairs." Belsaria took a deep breath, "I just wanted to hear your voice. In this family, there aren't many people I can fully trust."
Bramo felt a pang of discomfort in his heart.
