Dembele seemed unsurprised by the hostile reception; he nodded with a smile, "Quite fair, Mr. O'Malley."
Instead of rushing in, he stood under the porch light, calmly opening the heavy briefcase. To Patrick's surprise, it was not filled with the expected cash or weapons but several bound documents, and an enlarged, somewhat blurry maritime photograph.
"First, it's about the 'HMCS Montreal'." Dembele picked up the photograph and handed it to Patrick, "Please take a close look at this position on the ship's side just before the explosion."
Patrick suspiciously took the photo, examining it under the light. The photo was obviously taken from a great distance with a telephoto lens, causing some blur, but the outline of the 'Montreal' and the moment before the huge fireball erupted from the middle of the ship were clear. Below the fireball, near the waterline, there seemed to be a tiny flash unlike a missile's exhaust.
"What is this?" Patrick frowned.
