The grand inaugural ceremony for the first phase hub of the "Mei Shui Mo Diao Project"—a large gravity dam named "Rise"—is being held here.
This dam, resembling a giant dragon, stretches between two mountains, intercepting the flow from the Colorado River and other water systems, creating a spectacular large reservoir.
Under the scorching sun, the water surface glistens endlessly, contrasting sharply with the surrounding slightly desolate mountains, symbolizing the mighty power of human transformation of nature.
The site is filled with guests, officials from the Mexican Government, representatives of the local population, construction personnel, and numerous domestic and foreign media reporters, all focusing their lenses on the podium.
