The crystal chandelier in the Madrid Prime Minister's office was dizzying.
Prime Minister Gonzalez crumpled the copy of the Mexico Ministry of Foreign Affairs' note into a ball, lazily tossed it, and accurately hit the brass trash can in the corner, making a soft "whoosh."
"Yes!"
"If I weren't in politics, I should have joined the NBA."
He grabbed the sangria on the table and took a big gulp, "That half-educated bastard Victor thinks a few incendiary remarks can flip the table?"
The Minister of Foreign Affairs immediately laughed, "Prime Minister, you're wise! Our statement was a textbook-level rebuttal, especially the last comment about his education must have hit them hard. Who do they think they are to order us around? They tried to steal a chicken only to lose the rice used to lure it!"
