Vode's fate hung in the balance, like a fruit soon to fall off the tree, with the dark creature's suffocating fumes wrapping around him like a shroud. All his hopes seemed extinguished, but something happened, his door bursts wide open with a deafening crash, like a dam breaking under the force of a raging river. And look a strange figure, putting on a face mask, strode in through the busted door, his eyes piercing. Vode felt the mysterious man's gaze fall upon him and metals seemed to be bending to his will, like a loyal servant mid air.
As he walked you could hear slightly like the beats of local drums behind him as he controlled those things "Dun dun! Dun dun!!.
The mysterious man started with an attack on the creature, trying to wrap it up with his metallic powers, but the creature kept slipping throughout his grasp as it could phase or somewhat vanish and reform or appear someplace else.
"Not another one, who are you and what do you want from me?" Vode asked, his voice trembling like a leaf in a hurricane, his eyes wide with terror.
The masked man didn't respond, the creature let out a blood-curdling scream, as it was forced back away from Vode by the masked man's metallic powers. Vode's eyes grew wider still, in shock from the surreal scene unfolding before him, "is this real"?.
The masked man eyes suddenly got fixed on Vode again and this time his metal powers surging forward like a tidal wave went straight for him.
Confused as he was he thought why does this look like something that happens in a novel
The creature's voice cut through the din, its words. "Don't you See?"
Not wanting to understand a thing Vode tried to run, but his legs were heavy and shaky, his body frozen in fear. The metals caught him, kept going around his body as the masked man raised him up with his mythical powers, Vode struggled but he was immediately wrapped and the metallic materials began to crush him , he let out a groan of pain, he could feel his muscles tightening, hear his bones crack this was the true terror.
But the dark creature charged forward, ripped through the metal saving Vode from deaths grip, the metals however pierced his side by the abdomen and he was loosing blood, his vision began to fail, he became dull and pale.
The creature appeared before him, its fingers prying open his eyes to see. Releasing it's dark fumes all around him and making him to see a vision - the vision was of his father , in the farm working on the soil but just then he was approached by a man who immediately struck him down, and the killer was the mysterious Masked man.
Tears rolled down Vode's eyes, he tried to stand, but he couldn't, he was losing blood, losing sight, and losing consciousness, he was losing this fight. On seeing him laying lifeless the masked man walked away as people began to assemble.
