Su Shu's heart tightened.

Tang Zelin approached his wife silently, his hands steadying her.
Ji Dong fell silent for a moment, then spoke the truth.
"Group captain, sister-in-law, Xiao'ai is missing."
Su Shu froze. What did he mean Xiao'ai is missing? What does that mean?
Ji Dong, struggling to contain the turmoil inside him, tried to relay the events of Xiao'ai's disappearance to them in as calm a manner as possible.
Xiao'ai had disappeared.
This couldn't be kept from the group captain and his sister-in-law. Ji Dong felt helpless; he couldn't find Xiao'ai. Standing in front of the couple, he felt like stabbing his own heart.
Tang Zelin sensed his emotional turmoil and gripped his shoulder, shaking his head slightly at him.
Ji Dong felt a sourness at his nose.
He knew Zelin didn't blame him, and in fact, Tang Zelin felt he had no right to blame Ji Dong.
