"What are you doing here, Tang Xuewu?" Tang Chuchu's voice was sharp. "Is this all my credit? Does it have anything to do with you? Not a single thing!" Her harsh words left Tang Xuewu speechless.
"Yeah? Why can't you just be a foil?" one of the Tang Family's collateral relatives sneered. The small group ridiculed her as they walked past and entered the main hall.
Her face burning with shame, Tang Xuewu turned to leave.
"Thinking of stealing my credit? Dream on!" Tang Chuchu scoffed, waving her hand dismissively.
"Don't be angry, Chuchu. She's not worth it," someone said. "After all, she has to work hard to support that idiot cripple at home."
A wave of cruel laughter erupted from the group.
"Exactly! Haha!" Tang Chuchu laughed along with them before heading into the hall.
