Mother Qin was proudly showing off her accomplishments when she suddenly caught sight of Qin Qingnan. She couldn't help but awkwardly shrug, as her son's cold gaze made her feel uneasy all over.
Father Qin was also taken aback, feeling extremely embarrassed. "Ahem," he coughed lightly, "Qingnan, didn't you have a major surgery yesterday? Why didn't you have a good rest and come back so early?"
Qin Qingnan looked at his parents with a smirk, utterly disappointed in them. "Why I came back, do you really need to ask?"
Father Qin and Mother Qin both fell into an awkward silence.
Qin Qingnan let out a cold laugh, staring intensely at Mother Qin. "Mom, judging by your expression, you went to Ziran's family to insult her parents, making them so angry their blood pressure rose. And you're still proud of it?"
Mother Qin knew she was in the wrong, but having been spoiled and bossy all her life, she stubbornly refused to admit it.
