Seeing her eat with great relish, Su Xiaoyue and Le Qingqing also tentatively tried some of the sour and spicy dishes. Though Le Qingqing could handle spicy but not sour, and Su Xiaoyue could tolerate sour but not spicy, both of them struggled to swallow the food in their mouths and didn't want to touch those dishes again. In their hearts, they complained: A pregnant woman's appetite should not be judged by normal standards.
During the meal, Su Xiaoyue received a call from Zhou Huachang.
"Miss Su, is our appointment this afternoon still on?" Zhou Huachang's voice was much calmer now, perhaps because he had come to terms with the situation, or maybe he had come to a realization.
Su Xiaoyue hummed in response, "It's still on, I'll be waiting for you at the Industrial and Commercial Bureau in a little while."
"I'm at a coffee shop near the Industrial and Commercial Bureau. Call me when you arrive."
"Alright."
