He walked methodically to the dining table, climbed onto the chair, greeted Aunt Li, and then started eating his breakfast.
Aunt Li smiled when she saw his listless appearance, "What's wrong? You look a bit out of sorts."
Xunxun scanned the table with his eyes, "Aunt Li, aren't my mom and dad coming down for breakfast?"
Aunt Li smiled, "Your mom and dad have already eaten. They said they'll take you to school. They're upstairs changing clothes, so hurry up and eat, or you'll be late."
Xunxun's previously gloomy eyes suddenly lit up, sparkling.
Aunt Li watched with a look of confusion, then shook her head, thinking how fickle children can be, with emotions coming and going so quickly.
Xunxun quickly finished his breakfast, took his plate to the kitchen for Aunt Li, and then hurried upstairs, just about to knock on his parents' room door, when it opened as he raised his hand.
Bo Zhi looked down at him and smiled, "Baby, have you had your breakfast?"
