Just as her hand touched the doorknob, the bedroom door was suddenly pulled open from inside, which gave Ye Yuning quite a scare.
"You, why are you in my room?"
"I left something in the cabinet; I just came to get it," Xiao Linye said without a change in expression.
But Ye Yuning was doubtful. Is that really the case? Yet, seeing the man's serious face, she didn't feel right to question him further.
While she was lost in thought, Xiao Linye had already squeezed past her out of the room and headed directly back to the master bedroom.
