Ye Yuning was delayed by contract negotiations with Simon, so she finished work late.
Knowing Xiao Linye was waiting for her, she asked, "Shall we eat out tonight?"
She felt that Xiao Linye had had a long day and didn't want him to have to prepare dinner after returning home.
And since she wasn't much of a cook herself, she figured it would be better to just grab something casual outside.
Xiao Linye, of course, had no objections and was happy to let her decide.
Ye Yuning smiled and nodded. "Then let's have your favorite tonight."
"I'm fine with anything."
"How about we go for seafood?" Ye Yuning suggested after a moment's thought.
Most seafood could be steamed, making it a lighter option.
Xiao Linye also thought of this. "Are you sure you want to eat that?"
"Sure. I actually feel like having seafood today."
When it came to flavors, she wasn't very picky. If she had to choose, though, she would opt for something spicy.
