As Mike stepped out of Petal Paradise, the warm sunlight streamed through the shop's windows, bathing him in a golden glow.
A sense of optimism washed over him, revigorating his spirits. His first sales had been surprisingly fruitful, amounting to a whopping 24,000 Pokedollars. The thought filled him with excitement. This was his first time earning money through hard work.
With this sum, he realized he would be able to purchase four Everstones at the bustling department store, without needing to use his saved money.
The department store located in the heart of Goldenrod City. Everstones, known for their ability to prevent Pokémon from evolving, were essential for Mike's strategy of having his Mareep in there initial form.
This way he wll be able to increase there move level without worrying about them evolving. This was a nessary investment, so in the future he will be able to get high quality wool from them.
The bustling atmosphere of Goldenrod always excited him, with its vibrant streets lined with shops and trainers eager to show off their latest catches. They were trainers going around those shops buying nessary items for there Pokémon.
As he walked toward his new destination, the sounds of the city enveloped him—lively chatter, the distant call of Pokémon and merchant or shop owners shouting there products aloud.
The scent of freshly prepared snacks wafted through the air, reminding him once again that this was not just a city of commerce but also a hub of adventures. Every corner held potential encounters with trainers who shared passion for Pokémon. He could already heard there conversations that was now being unfold.
Mike navigated through the crowded streets, weaving past excited trainers and enthusiastic vendors. He took a moment to appreciate the vibrant displays of various Pokémon merchandise, from plush toys to battle gear. Each stall showcased the diverse culture surrounding Pokémon trainings. This was a very enjoyable walk so far.

The department store was known for its vast selection of items, rare and valuable goods that couldn't be found normally. He pushed open the glass door and stepped into the first floor. The cool interior, immediately greeted by the hum of activity.
Rows of shelves stretched out before him, filled with everything a trainer could need. From potions to Poké Balls, the store was a treasure trove. Previously he didn't visit this floor as he didn't need anything then.
He could see trainers bustling about, examining products, chatting, and making deals. Mike felt a surge of excitement as he spotted the section dedicated to evolution stones. His goal was clear: find those Everstones and secure them before anyone else could snatch them up.
He made his way through the aisles, scanning the shelves with anticipation. After a few moments, he finally located the evolution stones. There they were, nestled among other items—glimmering for someone to take them.
He walked up there and heart raced as he approached the display, nervous about not finding the right amount. He quickly counted the Everstones. Four would be perfect for his needs. But thankfully there was 9 in total.
Although it was a rare items, many trainer didn't use them. So, sometimes they couldn't be find because of the rarity. No, it was because those things didn't sold much.
Each of those Everstone represented a chance of getting more money for him. This will keep his Pokémon in their current forms, allowing him to use his ability on them to their full potential without the risk of evolution. This thought exited him, as he now able to use his point without worry's.
After ensuring he had the right amount, Mike made his way to the checkout counter. As he stood in line, he overheard a conversation between two trainers discussing they're recent Gym battle.
They shared stories of their victories against Gym leaders they faced. Mike felt a little interest in the Gym. He also wanted to start getting his Gym badges for the upcoming Silver conference.
But it has to wait, as he was going to that after finishing his immediate work in the ranch. After he have his Ranch running he will have enough time to get his badges.
Finally, it was his turn at the register. The cashier smiled warmly as she rang up his purchase. "You have good eyes! Everstones are becoming more popular among trainers these days. This was also why our shop start to have them now," she remarked.
Mike nodded and said." Thank for the complement. I've got some Pokémon I want to keep in their current forms for now. I don't know they were getting popular now!!"
The cashier replied with a smile. "Yes! Some trainers wants to keep there Pokémon in there current form. It was specially popular among female trainers."
Mike only nodding his head in understanding. Some rich female trainers who likes Pokemons cute form use this stone.
After completing his purchase, he exited the store, Everstones securely tucked in his bag. The city outside was just as vibrant as he had left it, and he felt a renewed sense of purpose.
As he walked through Goldenrod, he begins to look forward to seeing what kind of wools his Mareep can produce.
With the sun beginning to dip in the sky, casting a warm orange hue over the city, Mike realized it was time to find a place to buy food for the upcoming feast with his Pokémon. He had planned this special celebrate for his first earning today.
He strolled through the streets of Goldenrod, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. The scents of various foods wafted through the air, tempting him as he passed by food stalls and cafés bustling with trainers and their Pokémon. As he walked, he recalled a few recommended spots where he could find the best ingredients for the feast.
His first stop was the local market, known for its fresh products. The market was alive with energy, with vendors calling out to passersby, displaying their goods. Mike navigated through the crowd, his eyes scanning for anything that could be used for feast.
At one stall, he found an array of colorful berries, each one more vibrant than the last. He picked a few, as his farm still couldn't be used for now. But they were already growing rapidly. In the next week, he should be able to have his own berries.
Next, he spotted a vendor selling special Pokémon treats, crafted with care and designed to give Pokémon a boost in energy. He purchased a variety of these treats for his Pokemon to enjoy.
As he continued exploring, Mike felt a sense of excitement seeing so many types of food that was around. He has to stop himself from indulging in the food without his Pokemon. As today was a big feast he couldn't just enjoy himself. So, he was on a mission to create the perfect meal.
He remembered hearing about a nearby bakery that made delicious pastries favored by trainers and Pokémon alike. With a determination, he made his way to the bakery.
Upon entering, he was greeted by the sight of freshly baked goods displayed behind the glass counter. Croissants, muffins, and specialty cakes adorned the shelves, each one more tempting than the last. The most noticable features was the smell. The smell of freshly made bread was on a another level.
He approached the counter, discussing with the baker which items would be best suited for his Pokémon feast. After selecting a variety of pastries, he fell satisfied with the amount.
With his bag full of delicious food, Mike stepped back into the bustling streets. The sun continued to set, painting the sky with deeper shades of orange and purple. He decided it was time to head back to his ranch. It was also time for Zack to come and get all the products from his ranch.
