Chapter sixty three:
Everyone walked out of the living room, each of us taking a seat, getting comfortable. I sat on a single couch just the opposite from Alice and Teen.
I didn't want to drink the wine, but the timer meant something so I had to.
I then took a sniff, it smelled sweet, sighing I took a small sip, it was kind and good, I then smiled and drank the rest of the contents.
"Okay, so a witch is really just another name for a bad girl, is that right?" Said Sharon Davis.
"That is extremely reductive." Replied Lilia.
"We are not a monolith. And you know, I blame Halloween. Do you see any pointy hats in here? Any green skin? No, sir." Said Lilia.
Agatha Harkness then walked over to me. "Don't drink." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"I already did." I said.
"Well, I'm not saying that I wanna join the club or anything, but I would drink the blood of a virgin if it would get some of these wrinkles." Replied Sharon Davis.
I then smiled at her comment. We all then watched as she took a few steps and turned, before gasping.
"Oh my God!" Said Alice before climbing over the furniture.
I then let my glass fall to the floor breaking. "Oh God." I replied before looking at Sharon Davis.
"Oh, you are so sweet. I don't really think I need it, either." Said Sharon Davis.
"Okay, so Mrs. Hart?" I replied.
"Sharon." Said Sharon Davis.
"Sharon, you're a little swollen." Replied Alice before looking at her.
"Is it bad?" Said Sharon Davis.
"I think she looks fantastic." Replied Agatha Harkness.
I then slapped her on the arm after she said that.
"We've been poisoned." Said Jen.
"What?" I replied before standing up.
"No, no, no." Said Jen before running over to a mirror to look at her reflection.
"Oh, my God! I have jowls!" Said Jen.
"My face! My formerly perfect face!" Replied Sharon Davis.
"Oh God I look like Pietro!" I said.
"Honestly, I don't hate it." Said Alice.
"Oh, my God. Is that what I look like?" Replied Sharon Davis.
"Yeah." Said Alice.
"Mrs. Hart." Replied Jen before running over to her.
"It's Sharon." Said Sharon Davis.
"You are so pretty." Replied Jen.
"Thank you." Said Sharon Davis.
"But since you were the first to drink, you're our canary in a coal mine." Replied Jen.
"Okay." Said Sharon Davis.
Sharon Davis was about to drink the wine but I used my red chaos magic to stop her.
"No, it's poison, Sharon. Remember?" I replied.
"Why don't you just let her drink it all?" Said Agatha Harkness.
We all then looked at her. "It just serves our best interest is all." Replied Agatha Harkness.
I then looked at Sharon Davis.
"Okay. I'm going to ask you a few questions so we can try to identify the poison. Okay?" Said Jen.
"Do you feel any tingling in your throat?" Replied Jen.
"No." Said Sharon Davis.
"Do you taste mulberries?" Replied Jen.
"What do mulberries taste like?" Said Sharon Davis.
"Do you hear any ringing or the sound of fairies crying?" Replied Jen.
"Huh?" Said Sharon Davis.
"I love you guys." Replied Lilia.
"Yeah your starting to grow on me to Lilia but right now we need to get un- poisoned." I said.
"I feel a little better." Replied Sharon Davis.
I then looked at her as she was back to normal.
"Your face is back to normal." Said Lilia.
"Your's too." I replied.
"Thank goodness." Said Lilia.
"Is mine?" I replied.
"It's gone Wanda." Said Lilia.
"Phew!" I replied.
"It went away so fast." Said Teen.
"Is that it?" Replied Alice.
"Yay." Said Sharon Davis.
"Not yay. Very much not yay." Replied Jen before shaking her head.
"What do you mean?" I said.
"The fact that the swelling decreased so quickly means it could be only one type of potion. Alewife's Revenge. Face swelling is just the beginning. Next is dizziness and loss of function." Replied Jen.
"My heart is aching." Said Alice.
"That's another one." Replied Jen.
"Also, hallucinations, and eventually death." Said Jen.
I then took a deep breath, I did not want to die.
"How do you spell Alewife?" Replied Teen.
"Not the time Teen." I said before taking his notepad and put it back in his pocket.
"You can ask questions later but right now we need to find a cure before we, except you, all die." I replied.
"I've gotta get out of here." Said Agatha Harkness before she grabbed a bottle of wine and started beating the window.
"Agatha what are you doing?" I replied.
"Stop! It'll break." Said Alice.
I then walked up behind Agatha Harkness and grabbed the bottle from her hand.
"You can't run Agatha." I replied.
"She didn't even drink the poison." Said Teen.
"You can't cheat, Agatha." I replied.
"Why? Who says?" Said Agatha Harkness.
"The road." Replied Lilia.
"Oh, that's ridiculous. We all don't have to suffer. Teen didn't drink." Said Agatha Harkness.
"That's because he's not in the coven. And he's underage." I replied.
"I'm going to shove it down your gullet, so help me." Said Lilia.
"You know what?" Replied Agatha Harkness before taking the bottle away from Teen.
She then threw it to the floor. "No!" Said everyone while looking at the stain.
"We are wasting time." I replied before looking at Agatha Harkness.
"You have to drink Agatha." Said Alice.
"Well I would but there's no more wine. So." Replied Agatha Harkness.
Alice then reached down for the empty glass and it magically refilled.
I then looked at her. "So cute." Said Alice.
"Drink Agatha. Or I'll make you drink." I replied. I was about to get into her head before she stopped me.
"No!" Said Agatha Harkness.
Agatha Harkness then took the glass from Alice before drinking it.
"Ugh! It's so cheap." Replied Agatha Harkness.
I then rolled my eyes at her.
"Please, please. Wanda? Wanda, I'm begging you. Let him breathe. Please." Said Sharon Davis.
I then looked at her and my heart stood still as Sharon Davis fell to the floor.
"So the hallucinations seem chill." Replied Agatha Harkness.
"I didn't do anything." I said.
"Hey mom, are you okay?" Replied Teen before walking over to me.
"Oh yeah, I'm okay." I said.
"Hey potion witch. It's time to brew a antidote." Replied Agatha Harkness.
Jen nodded guiding everyone to the kitchen. I then grabbed the timer before placing it down in the kitchen.
"All right. Let's see what we are working with here. I need frankincense and the gut of a insect." Said Jen.
"We'll handle the first part." Replied Alice before pushing Teen out of the kitchen with her.
"Okay. I need a corpse that's been decaying for at least 30 million years." Said Jen.
I then looked at her. "Is that something that's available? Because I don't know what you're talking about." I replied.
"Why do I have to translate? It's zooplankton. It's in petroleum products." Said Jen.
"That maybe we can do." Replied Lilia before walking away.
"So it's you and me. What do you need?" I said.
"Okay, now I just need a really big cauldron." Replied Jen.
"A what?" I said.
"Something to make the potion in." Replied Jen.
"That could work." I said before pointing to the sink.
I walked over to the sink, while Jen fetched the gut of a insect, I then placed the pug in and turned to the faucet, cold water pouring into sink.
"Eye of newt." Replied Jen.
"What?" I said.
"Also known as mustard seed." Replied Jen before walking to the pantry.
"Sounds way better." I said.
"You know what else would sound better?" Replied a strange voice.
I then turned around to see my parents.
"Mom? Dad?" I said.
"Where's your brother?" Replied my dad.
"Not here but he would be happy to see you." I said.
"Why would he, it was you who killed us." Replied my dad.
My heart then dropped. "What?" I said.
"You killed us Wanda." Replied my mom.
"No mom, I didn't kill you. Their was an explosion remember, don't you remember." I said before crying.
"You left us to die, you killed us." Replied my dad.
He then stepped forward and grabbed my throat.
Immediately I began gasping for air.
"You killed us Wanda! You could've saved us, but you left!" Said my dad.
"Dad." I replied before getting back to reality.
My hands immediately went to my head, taking in deep breaths.
