Hybrid brief stared at the league and Superman who was at the front of them. He walked closer while the Flash and Batman made their way to his side. Hybrid stepped forward and looked Superman in the eye from a few feet away. He stared into the eyes of the man of steel and the air grew tense. Seeing this his fellow clones and the rest of the team followed and formed up behind him almost out of instinct. Superman seeing the S logos on their chests started to frown. Then Batman looked to Robin and took a step towards him.
"Are they what I think they are?" Batman questions. Meanwhile Wonder Woman makes her way towards them as the teenagers shuffle uncomfortably.
"I'm Superman's clone!" Superboy YJ speaks up, gaining a shocked look from Flash.
"As am I" Says Comic Superboy who is quieter than his clone brother.
"I too am a clone of the Superman." Match briefly states in a deeper voice than the other two.
Lastly the group looks to hybrid to answer. He simply shrugs and says "It's complicated." Before continuing to stare at Superman whose face has contorted with shock.
While Martian Manhunter looks to Shazam, Flash looks to Green Arrow, and Aquaman and Black Canary can only look on in shock.
Batman's eyes zero in on this his protége's. "Start talking."

Both Green Lanterns have Blockbuster trapped inside a sphere, while Hawkman, Hawkwoman, and Captain Atom fly alongside them helping detain ultimen.
Superman is having a conversation with Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter. Nothing is said for a moment, then Manhunter places a hand on Superman's shoulder, causing Superman to glance at the Superboys. The clones looks are curious, while Superman's is hard. The clones look away, but YJ Superboy glances back, seeing Superman look down and away from him before finally turning and walking towards him.
Superman sighs as he meets his cross-armed clone. "We'll, uh, we'll figure something out for you. All of you" He looks at the other clones who are gathered in a circle.
"The League will, I mean." he corrects himself quickly.
"For now I better make sure they get the Blockbuster creature and those others squared away." Then he flies away with a swish of his cape. Leaving YJ Superboy following him with shocked, hurt, and confused eyes. Comic Superboy looks down with a saddened look while match looks completely indifferent. Hybrid watched the interactions with a curious gaze. All of them are following behind him like a unified team.
"Cadmus will be investigated," Batman says, drawing the teens' attention to him, Flash, and Aquaman as they walk towards them. "all 52 levels but let's make one thing clear-"
"There are more than 52 levels you might want to look into that." Hybrid cut in quickly, Flashes eyes widened slightly before returning to normal.
"Right, well I'll handle that but anyway. You should have called." Flash says, catching Batman's attention.
"End results aside, we're not happy." the Dark Knight growls.
"You hacked Justice League systems, disobeyed direct orders, and endangered lives. You will not be doing this again." He said with a hint of growl in his voice.
"I am sorry, but we will." Aqualad states strongly, even Robin steps up slightly.
"Aqualad, stand down." Aquaman attempts to command the older teen.
"Apologies, my King," he even makes reverence as he speaks, then his voice goes firm once more. "but no." this catches an eyebrow raise from the King of Atlantis. "We did good work here tonight, the work you trained us to do. Together on our own we forged something powerful, important."
"If this is about your treatment at the Hall, all of you-" Flash tries to understand where they're coming from but is completely off.
Kid Flash doesn't hesitate to interrupt him. " All of us will be working together."
"Batman, we're ready to do what you taught us, or why teach us at all?" He speaks the quietest out of the group, but as he steps up to speak to his mentor it's obvious that he feels just as strongly about it as they do.
"Why let them tell us what to do?" Superboy questions, his arms uncrossing as he too steps up. "It's simple. Get on board or get out of the way." all three protéges were watching him, but they all turn back towards their mentors. Standing tall, proud, and defiant.

Meanwhile in a dark a dark office room Lex Luthor sat frowning. The man looked like he was about to snap with rage but held himself back. In front of him 9 separate screens of light stood next to each other.
Then a calm and deep voice came from the middle screen. "So allow me to surmise what has occurred. A team of sidekicks uncovered one of our most important secret bases in the United States. In that prosses the managed to steal project Blockbuster. Turn project Match, and both project Kr products, all the genomorphs, the ultimen, and project Olympus against us. In addition to this our clones of the Harper boy were also taken into Justice league custody. The only things you were able too retain from this base was was the Galatea unit and the cloning data."
Luthor gritted his teeth and glared at the white screen then he responded quickly. "Yes."
"I see." The voice said before pausing briefly. "I believe this even may be cause for a reconsideration of your position in The Light."
Lex's face contorted in fury but before he could speak another voice off to the left cut in.
"I believe we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss Luther-San. Even if our losses were major project Cadmus can still salvaged. Not to mention Luther-San still has project Cercopes with him."
The man's voice is deep, smooth, and unsettlingly calm. It carries a sinister elegance, often sounding almost polite or amused. However it also contains a slight Asian accent, and his tone is measured and deliberate, exuding confidence and control, making him sound eerily unfazed by any situation. There is also a slight raspiness to his voice ,but it doesn't diminish the commanding and manipulative presence it conveys.
"I agree after all he is not the only one who couldn't who couldn't keep their organization in order. Letting a rebellion fester in your own group is nothing new apparently." He said with a slight chuckle at the end. This new voice was deep, commanding, and refined, exuding an air of supreme confidence and intellect. It also carried an Asian accent like the other although of clearly different nationality.
"SSayss the man who couldn't even keep hisss own children in order." Another voice cut in also a new one. His voice was a high-pitched, raspy, and intensely theatrical one. It has a distinctive, almost screechy quality, often rising to a shrill, exaggerated tone. But above all it contained an rumbling hiss and gurgling like that of a serpent riddling its tail ready to strike.
"You slimy Snake!" The previous voice spoke a cold anger in his tone. There was a slight childish laughter in the background resulting from the two jabs but no words. Rather he was cut off this time by the fist voice that summarized the reason for this meeting.
"We will table the discussion of Mr Luthor's position in the light for another day. As for now I suggest getting your house in order old friend." The voice's tones were longer and with a certain rumble to them.
"I assure you everything will be handled and everything will fall back into place soon." Lex said with much more calm than before.
"Very well then in that case this meeting is adjourned. However make sure everything to update us on your progress, or may not like what happens when you next step into… The Light." The rumbling voice disappeared and one by one so did the lights from each screen. Luthor glared at the now dark computer screens, the flames of his ambition only increased by the harsh words spoken by the The Light.

Sorry about the delays and the shorter chapters lately. I'll try to start producing chapters again but I will probably be doing smaller chapters following this maybe not this small but definitely smaller than my usual chapter size. I am just doing this for fun and sometimes I just get a bit tired of doing it but I'll try to keep going. I think I was honestly just loosing motivation to write something.
