Chapter 6 - Nokart part 2

Hitch was walking up a hill, followed closely by Noah. It was exhausting with the boiling sun floating in the clear, vast blue sky. Hitch then finally arrived at the peak of the hill and looked at the surroundings, which were beautiful and full of hundreds of different flowers. Hitch then looked at Noah, who was breathing heavily like a dog would after all those activities. Hitch then saw something under his foot; there was a small cat. The cat purred and rubbed its body against Hitch's thin legs, looking content with itself. Hitch then crouched to touch the cat, and its fur was soft and warm. Then the cat shrieked a horrible sound that made his eyes bleed heavily. He then pressed his hands against his ears to spare them from the horrific sound. Hitch then stumbled and fell from the hill and rolled on the soft ground, and then he stopped. The sky was now a dark grey, and there was no sign of the sun. Then Hitch looked around and saw that Noah was nowhere to be seen. The air had gotten colder to the point that it was very icy, and Hitch was cold to his bones. Then he looked behind, and his heart fell. He was just standing on the peak of a cliff. Then he stepped back a few times, but then he felt something on his back. There were as though pairs of hands that pushed against his back. They were quite insistent, as though they wanted Hitch to jump off the cliff. The hands kept pushing him closer to the cliff. Then they all pushed, and he was thrown into the void. The air was icy and merciless. Hitch fell down the void as though there was no end to it. Then he stopped falling as though there was a hand that held him from falling. Hitch then felt soft and warm, truly a comforting sensation in a situation like this. Then there was a path that spawned in front of him. The path was floating in the void, and it looked as though they were carved from wood. Hitch then stood up and looked intensely at the path. His body was trembling as though there was a huge earthquake happening right now. He then exhaled and inhaled sharply. Hitch then walked on the floating path with his body still trembling from the cold and fear. He then nearly stepped into the void but caught himself on the path before he could be engulfed by the void. Hitch then finally arrived at the end of the path. Then a table was summoned. Then there was a flower on the table, and Noah was sitting on it. Hitch then looked confused by what was presented to him on the table. Noah then jumped from the table and sat on it, leaving the flower to be revealed as a sunflower. Then Noah looked at Hitch and said nothing. Hitch didn't move a muscle. He then decided to do something. He stepped forward and then hugged Noah. Noah then hugged him back tightly. Hitch sniffed Noah's long hair, and not only did it smell like vanilla, but also a slight hint of sunflower.

Hitch then woke up from his deep slumber. Noah was sleeping peacefully next to him, snoring silently. Hitch was still confused by the dream he had just had, and decided to shake it off, and then he cuddled Noah softly and hugged him tightly. Noah didn't move in his sleep, but then he snored slightly louder. Hitch then slowly closed his eyes, hoping that he would go into a peaceful sleep again without any odd or confusing dreams. Hitch's eyes slowly sealed themselves. But before he could fall into his sleep, there was someone who was banging on the door loudly.

"The pay's over, boys, you gotta get out of here before my next customer comes in to sleep. Except if you wanna still stay here, then you better pay up!"

Hitch then leapt from the bed and shook Noah multiple times. Noah didn't move in the slightest and continued his sleep. Hitch then decided to bite on his neck softly. Noah winced slightly, but was still asleep. Hitch then decided to slap Noah's butt. Noah then opened his eyes and still looked somewhat sleepy.

"Good morning, babe," he yawned.

"We have to go now, Noah, to our destination to find the flower, you know," Hitch said slowly so that his sleepy boyfriend would understand him.

Noah then yawned and leapt from the bed and scratched his butt. Hitch couldn't resist himself due to the masterpiece in front of him, so he decided to smack Noah's butt, and the sound echoed in the room, and his butt jiggled slightly. Noah then looked at Hitch, slightly impressed by his boldness, and he grinned. Noah then took a mask and looked at Hitch before he transformed into a green ogre, and Hitch followed him. Hitch then opened the door and found the gorgon, and Hitch let Noah out of the room.

"Any garbage found inside will be added to your bill," he said sharply.

"Don't worry, we didn't leave anything behind," said Noah.

"You better hope so," the gorgon then entered the room and searched everywhere. He then exited the room a few minutes later. "Nothing, you guys are free to go," he said sharply.

"Thank you for allowing us to come in here to sleep," said Hitch politely.

They both then walked through the dense crowd and pushed their way to an alley where there was nobody, and Hitch then pulled out his map. He looked at the map.

"It says here that we have to go to the town of Jogh and then go the the dark forest, and that's all that it says," said Hitch after he scanned the map carefully.

"The dark forest? That doesn't sound so safe!"

"I think it's safe because otherwise, would Julika put it in her map? Because she said that no danger would come to us!"

"Had she really said that, or did she give you that impression?" Noah asked inquisitively.

"No, she never really said something like that, but I trust her that no danger would come to us. Remember, she said that she's watching us travelling like a movie, so I doubt that we're going to die because then she would have nothing to watch for!"

"Do you think so? Because maybe if we die, then she would just give up on us and watch other people's stories. She struck me as the kind of person to watch many movies at the same time. And imagined if we're just DVDs for her. If we die, then that DVD breaks, and you would just throw it in the bin, right? You would have no reason to keep that DVD and try to fix it."

"That's an interesting way of thinking," said Hitch as he looked thoughtful for a moment.

"But whatever, no matter how she saw us as what, I would still be by your side no matter what happened, babe. I promised that I would follow you until the end of time and bring you happiness with that flower."

"Thanks, babe," said Hitch as he received a head pat from Noah. "Now we just have to find a way to get to that village called Jogh. The map says that we just have to walk and we'll arrive there in under an hour."

"Let's not waste any more time, then," said Noah excitedly.

They then both exited the alley, but before Hitch could fully get out of the alley, he felt something that caught his leg. He then looked down and saw a cat. A grey, old, skinny, crazy-looking cat. She had huge eyes the size of tennis balls. They were so huge that they looked like they were going to pop at any moment. She looked very hungry and looked as though she was begging for food. But then what she said next made Hitch feel disgusted.

"Do you want to fuck with me?" She asked in a hoarse voice.

"Ew, no way!" Hitch cried as he kicked the cat, and she hit on wall before she then hit the ground, and blood splattered everywhere. The scent of dried feces mixed with blood filled both of their nostrils. The scent made them feel uneasy and heavy.

"Hitch, did you just kill that cat?"

"No, I didn't do it on purpose, Noah! That cat said something weird to me, and I just wanted to defend myself."

Hitch then looked at where the cat was and to his utter horror, the body twitched and moved before her twisted body fully before to what it used to be. The blood that had splattered everywhere then dried up. Then she looked at them intensely.

"Let me suck your dicks!" She shrieked hoarsely. She then jumped at him with her hands stretched as though intending to have her nails sink deep into their clothes. Then an orc with a mop used his mop to pin the cat down. The cat was struck down by the sheer force of the mop, and blood scattered everywhere on the ground and the mop. Her body then looked twisted as though she had been crushed multiple times before.

"Don't need to worry about this crazy cat," said the orc as he lifted the mop from her twisted body, "gotta clean this mop though." He said as he examined the filthy mop.

"What the hell is that thing?" Hitch asked as he looked at the cat's twisted body before it snapped into her original form. She then hissed at the three of them and ran away.

"That's the crazy cat that we called Kakinette. She's the crazy cat from Nokart. She usually doesn't come to this place. But there were reports of her sight here. Don't let her intimidate you, kiddo, she's weak as hell. Just one kick could make her die. But for some reason, that thing's immortal. She would always come back and cause some trouble. Don't worry, she's not going to come back after that."

"Why the hell did that thing say crazy stuff like 'let me suck your dicks'?"

"Don't know," said the orc honestly. "My grandfather told me that this cat had always been that way since forever. Nobody knows why she's like that, but my theory was that she's just insane at an insane level."

Then Noah noticed something up on the roof. Then something jumped down from the roof and landed on Noah's pec, and it was Kakinette. Noah was then petrified with the cat's claws sunk deep into his skin.

"You got some nice tits! Let me suck them!"

Hitch then took the cat off the petrified Noah and threw it in the alleyway. But before it could land on the ground. Then it turned its arms into something like how a flying squirrel would use to fly. She then headed in their direction and laughed manically, and headed straight to him, and then before she could land on Hitch's shoulder. The orc then used his filthy mop and swung at the crazy cat, and then she exploded into thousands of pieces and blood splattered everywhere. The scent of blood and feces filled the alleyway and all of their nostrils. Hitch's face and Noah's body were full of blood that smelled like feces. Both of them then puked out the acid in their stomach that burned their throat as it came out. They both then puked again, and only the acid from their stomach exited their mouths, and it burned their mouth. The orc then looked at them and puked up what he had just eaten. Then the orc invited them to his place so that they could clean up. Hitch then wiped his face and body with a wet towel and then asked the orc if they could use the shower. The orc agreed that they had better shower themselves. Hitch and Noah then became naked and put their clothes in the washing machine. The place was built out of wood, and it felt warm even though they hadn't taken a shower yet. Then Hitch pulled open the shower, and it ran lukewarm water from it with the steam rising to their body and made them feel very comfortable. Then Hitch took a soap and used it to wipe his entire body, and it felt refreshing after the disastrous event. Hitch then used the soap to clean Noah's entire body. His body was fully packed with muscles, and yet his skin still felt softer than Hitch had anticipated. They both then removed their mask and each of them took a turn who should to use the soap on their face. They then both finished washing their body with soap after they each took a sniff at each other's faces and bodies to see whether it still stank of feces and blood or not. Hitch then grabbed a shampoo bottle and poured it on Noah's head and his long, wet hair. Hitch then took the role of a hairdresser and washed Noah's hair carefully with the shampoo and made sure to comb his hair. Noah then let out a satisfied grunt in response when Hitch rubbed his head with a brush. Hitch then grinned and let Noah do the job for him. Noah poured a small quantity of shampoo on Hitch's hair and rubbed it together with a comb, and washed it clean with lukewarm water. Hitch then let out a satisfied grunt when Noah finally finished doing his job. Then Noah grinned deviously and then tickled Hitch right there in his waist in the shower. Hitch couldn't stop himself from laughing and giggling. Noah then stopped tickling Hitch, and Hitch responded by smacking Noah's thick, round buttocks. Both of them then took the masks and washed them with a brush to make sure it was clean.

"I can't believe that we wasted a turn on the mask because of a crazy cat!" He yelled.

"Don't worry, babe. We still have two turns, you know? And we could just use them enough when we get there and find a place to sleep."

"Yeah, but I don't know, is two turns really enough? Because it's just eight hours of transformation!"

"Don't worry, we'll figure out something together on the way," encouraged Noah.

"Are you guys finished showering?" Asked the orc, "Because if the steam is generated too much, it'll trigger my fire alarm, and I don't want that."

"Don't worry, we're already finished," said Hitch as he closed the water's flow, and then they both took a towel and put it around their waist. They then put on their masks and transformed into ogres, and then they opened the door to the shower and exited the place.

"You're clothes are already dried," said the orc with all the clothes in his arms.

"Really? Our clothes dried that quickly?" said Noah in disbelief as he took his clothes from the orc's arms.

"Yeah, because we have a special system with a fire that allows us to dry our wet clothes quickly."

"How could we repay you, sir?" Hitch asked.

"No need to repay anything, my boy," said the orc.

"But we used your shower and your washing machine, and don't forget your drying machine, sir. There's gotta be some way to repay you, sir."

"No need, my boy, just consider it as a gift of kindness from me. And it's not your fault that you got into that disastrous situation; it was the crazy cat's fault. Next time you see her, just kick her away and run as far as possible."

"Thank you for everything, sir," said Noah as he then walked into the closet to dress himself up before he exited it and came back looking fresh and new.

Hitch then walked into the closet and first dropped the towel after he locked the door. He first put on his underwear, then his pants, and then he put on his shirt. He then unlocked the closet door and got out, and looked newly fresh.

"You looked really good, my boy," said the orc.

"Thank you for everything, sir," said Noah as he left the place and was met with a cloudy sky with no sign of the sun. He then looked at Hitch, who followed closely behind him. They then walked across the street and evaded many carriages that rolled in the street. Hitch then pulled open his map and looked at where they were, and noticed that the whole thing suddenly went blank.

"Noah, look! The map's blank!"

"What happened to it? Don't tell me that you took a shower with it!"

"No, I didn't, I remember that I had left it on a shelf back at where we took the shower."

Hitch then noticed letters that started appearing and spinning on the map. They then formed a single phrase that read out:

I'm tired, let me sleep for about an hour, and I'll be able to show you the way.

"It seemed to us that we can't use the map now, let's just take a taxi or carriage," said Hitch flatly.

"Or maybe we can just ask people for directions," suggested Noah.

"I don't remember the name of the village we were supposed to go to," said Hitch angrily.

"I remember!" said Noah happily. "It's a village called Jogh, and the map said that if we were to walk there, we could arrive in under an hour or something. We'd better be stingy here because our money won't last if we keep abusing it."

Noah then approached a nearby harpy who was talking to a lizard man, and he asked her for directions. She then pointed at a road made out of purple bricks just dozens of feet away from where they were, and Noah nodded and then executed the action of gratitude.

"She said that we just have to journey on the purple street and then stop after we passed three villages, and there we would find wooden signs that said where Jogh will be!" Beamed Noah.

"Alright, let's not waste any more precious time," beamed Hitch as he walked in the street.

They both walked side by side with a constant rhythm that was quite beautiful. They both walked passed dozens of carriages and people within just five minutes. The air was perfectly cold and icy at the right degree that it made them feel rather cool than cold. The air was fresh was filled with the scent of mountain dews and mountain rivers, with a small note of grass in it. Then Hitch pointed out the beautiful landscapes full of magnificent mountains that were filled to the brim with thousands of colorful flowers.

"You know, Hitchy, if the sky were clear, the view could have been more beautiful."

"I don't know, Noah, because isn't beauty subjective? I always thought that beauty was an illusion that humans created to admire and waste their time on something that naturally exists in its own way. But I do kind of admire it too. I think that the grey sky made a beautiful contrast with the colorful mountains. It's as though this place is full of sorrowful things, and yet also contains beautiful and joyful things. But there isn't a single view like that back in our world. It made me feel kind of weird, you know? Maybe there are just too many beautiful things that my eyes couldn't handle, so it made me feel uneasy."

"Speaking about beauty, I kind of disagree with you," said Noah casually.

"Really? What do you think about the concept of beauty then?"

"I think it's natural to admire something that you don't usually see, as though savoring the moment of finding something rare and unusual in a good sense. I don't think that beauty is subjective because what qualifies as beauty needs a standard, like how things should be because or else you'll just end up like modern and contemporary art. There's nothing special, and it lets people interpret it like however they want. Which is not something new because there have been better things that let people interpret before modern and contemporary art came. Like music and novels, and many other things!"

"I told you, when people interpret things, it's just an illusion that's created and that will never become the truth until the author of the subject that's being interpreted reveals its true nature, it becomes a truth and an illusion! Such a fascinating state of existence!" beamed Hitch.

"Yeah, but isn't that something that worked in the same way as Schrodinger's cat?"

"Yeah, it's a way of thinking that when something's true nature isn't revealed, the possibilities and theories and illusions about it all become true and exist as a truth and illusion simultaneously."

"This concept is too complex for me," admitted Noah.

"Don't worry, I don't fully get it, so my understanding of it might be wrong, and maybe my way of using it as an example was also wrong."

"Let's talk about the conspiracy behind the industry of war."

"Industry of war? You think that war is a business run by hundreds of nations! You think that war is a joke?! No! People died in wars! People lost their families and lands in wars! People lost the most precious thing to them in wars! And you're here living a happy life with no conflict whatsoever, and you're still taking war is a joke?! War is not a joke, Noah! It's something disastrous that humans always wage at each other for reasons of land and resources, and many other reasons. War is not a joke!" shouted Hitch.

"Alright, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. But why do you hate war so much?"

Hitch said nothing and looked intensely at Noah. He then decided that since Noah was the one who started the conversation and that he better finish it.

"It's because my parents were bombarded by air raids in the war of twenty-nine," he said sadly, tears descended from both of his eyes.

"I'm so sorry, babe, I didn't mean to trigger you like that," Noah apologized sincerely.

"Don't worry, Noah. You don't need to apologize, you didn't mean it, and that's what matters," said Hitch apologetically.

"No, no, it was my fault that I triggered you like that," said Noah honestly.

"No, it was my fault for being easily triggered like that," said Hitch, and then he hugged Noah's waist tightly and wiped the tears off his head on Noah's shirt. Noah then kissed Hitch's head softly and hugged him back.

"Let's just move on, okay?"

"Yeah, let's not talk about it anymore," said Noah as he brushed his thumb on Hitch's cheek.

They walked for about half an hour, admiring the dazzling view of Nokart. They held each other's hands as they walked. Hitch was holding Noah's huge hand softly while Noah was gripping Hitch's hand hard. Hitch liked it because it meant that Noah wasn't going to let him go at any moment. They walked past hundreds of people and hundreds of carriages. The air was still as fresh as ever, and maybe it had gotten even fresher when they walked deeper into the mountains and near the rivers. The warmth from holding each other's hands was sent through both of their bodies. They felt somewhat cool and warm, which was quite enjoyable. The warmth had traveled from their hands to their spine and up to their heads and down to their toes. They then arrived at the village of Jinao because Noah was hungry and wanted to snack on something nice. They arrived in the town square and noticed an ice cream stand, and they approached it. The ice cream stand had flavours that Noah and Hitch hadn't put their tongues on yet. They all had weird names that were challenging to pronounce. Hitch ordered the one that had an orange hue to it. Noah then ordered the one that had a cyan color in it. They both got an ice cream cup with a wooden spoon on it. They then continued their journey to their destination. Hitch took a spoonful of the orange ice cream, and it tasted like garlic mixed with custard, which was quite appetizing. Noah then asked Hitch if he wanted to take a small bite of his ice cream, and Hitch said yes to that.

Hitch then took a spoonful from Noah's ice cream and placed it in his mouth. It tasted like a fizzy version of water mixed with the tense flavour of blueberry. He liked it, though he preferred his ice cream over Noah's ice cream. Then they walked side by side and admired the outstanding view.

Back at the village of Jinao. On the roof of a huge restaurant. Somebody who looked identical to Hitch was standing on top of it. He was wearing a long black cape and onyx pants with a raven vest and a white shirt underneath it. It was a wonder that nobody could have noticed the ominous figure on the high ground. He was observing the two lovebirds that walked far away from where he stood. He then pressed a button on his shirt, and a cloud of smoke appeared from it. The purple smoke then formed a twisted face, and it spoke.

"Do you have them in your sight, Frederick?" it said in a deep, primal voice.

"Yes, I do, and now what should I do?" He asked curiously as he gazed at the two lovebirds.

"Just cause some mayhem and have fun," it said in a deep, primal voice before the cloud of smoke vanished from thin air. Frederick then looked at the crowd below him and saw many children with ice cream cones in their hands, and thought of something. He then jumped from the rooftop and landed softly on the ground without any damage done to his body. He then let his long, black cape fly with the wind. He then walked up to the kids. The children looked curiously at him as though he were something of an unusual sighting around here. He then kicked off one of the children's ice cream cones, and it spilled all over the other kids. The kid then looked at his empty hand and cried hard. There was commotion behind him. He grinned evilly and turned around to see all kinds of creatures horrified by his presence.

"A human?! That's impossible!"

"What is he doing here?!"

"Get out of here, monster!"

"You will not last long here!"

"You're going to die here if you stay any longer!"

"Monster!"

Frederick then laughed maniacally, and the crowd surrounding him was terrified by it. He then pulled out a cane from his pocket and swung it around. Then some creatures approached him with sickles, pitchforks, scythes, and other gardening tools. One of them ran toward him with a sickle and swung it across his throat. However, to everybody's horror, the sickle broke into pieces and the pieces scattered on the ground with loud noises. Another one then ran and cried at him before swinging their scythe at his throat. The crowd then gasped in unison as the human used incredible speed to push the creature so hard with his cane that he flew dozens of feet into the air and landed hard on the ground. The crowd then ran away in every direction, screaming and yelling for their friends and relatives. The creatures with their weapons previously dropped and joined the scattering crowd. Then everybody entered their house, and it went dead silent. Nobody was outside of their house, and the wind blew loudly with Frederick standing alone. He then looked bored and spun around before he was met with a crowd with spears in their hands and a giant orc standing proudly in the crowd.

"How did you come here, human?" Asked the Orc in a deep voice.

"It doesn't matter how I came here, orc, just that I'm here to cause some mayhem! And I don't intend to stop it at any moment!"

"Kill him," ordered the orc, and there were yelled of battle cries and all of the creatures with their spears charged at where Frederick was standing. But before a spear could have penetrated him. He jumped high into the air, a dozen feet high. He looked as though he was floating. Then he landed softly on the ground as though he were just someone who knelt to pick up something they'd dropped. He then spun around and blew raspberries at them. They all cried in rage and charged at him. Then, a few seconds later, Frederick found himself surrounded in a circle by the soldiers with their spears aimed at him. Frederick then laughed maniacally and then used his cane to strike all of the spears simultaneously. The spears broke down into pieces, and all of the soldiers gasped in horror as the last thing they saw before they were knocked out was a cane swung in their direction. All of the soldiers fell on the ground hard, and Frederick was the only one standing in the midst. He then looked at the huge orc, as though challenging him to a one-on-one fight. The orc then pulled out his mace and charged at Frederick, swinging the mace at him. The mace then broke down into thousands of pieces that flew in every direction when it came into contact with his body. The orc was then hit on the head with a cane and fell to the ground hard. Frederick then walked on the orc's unconscious body and then put a small bow on it. He then took a small knife from his pocket and knelt on the orc's body. Then he used the knife to cut a small slice off the orc's body before he pocketed it. The wound that he had inflicted on the orc bled crimson blood. He then jumped off the orc's body and landed softly on the ground. He looked around at all of the houses, and he could feel every eye on him. He then cackled loudly in the empty silence. He then put his cane into his pocket, and it shrank when he did that. Frederick then turned his head up to look at the grey sky and thought of something. He then grinned evilly and had an idea of how he would execute it when he had the slightest chance.

Hitch walked just in front of Noah, and Noah was following him closely, and they still held each other's hands. Hitch then pointed out many strange-looking butterflies that flew over the flowers near the street. Hitch wondered if these butterflies were the ones that Julika mentioned. He doubted it and thought that Julika wouldn't have planned an entire map for them just to find some butterflies that were easy to locate. Hitch then pondered if the map was finally able to fully rest and take its recovery. Hitch then pulled out his map and saw the village of Jogh in it. They just needed to walk for about fifteen minutes and they'll arrive at the village. Noah then glanced at Hitch's map and noticed something about it.

"Hey, Hitchy, don't you think that the map is uncertain of itself, because there's a question mark on the village of Jogh. What do you think it's about?"

"I might just need to ask the map about it," Hitch said casually. "Hey, why is there a question mark on the map?"

Some letters appeared on the map, and they then formed a single phrase that read.

The person that you have to meet might not be here.

"What person?" Hitch questioned curiously.

The letters disappeared, and more letters appeared, and then they formed a single phrase.

The person you need to meet before your journey into the dark forest has something that will help you with your journey.

"Then what do we do if the person isn't here?" Asked Noah.

Thenyou just have to stay there until they're here.

"But who's is person are we talking about?"

Their name is Jason Hatier, and they lived in the pub called 'Monkey's Bandana'. They should be here by tomorrow.

"Alright, we'd better book a place to sleep for tonight," said Noah.

"Don't worry about it, we have enough money to get through for an entire month," said Hitch positively.

"Ah, here we are-look!" Noah then pointed at a wooden sign that said 'Jogh'.

The village was smaller than the other villages they had seen. There were only ten buildings in the area, and Hitch hoped that one of them might be a hotel or an apartment. The buildings looked ancient and ugly. They were all dark and had an eerie air to them as though they were the remains of buildings after a huge war. Hitch then looked at the signs of each building and found one that might suggest itself to be an apartment. Hitch then walked to that building and saw a receptionist waiting at the counter near the entrance. She was a gorgon with red snakes for hair.

"Hello," greeted Hitch, "we'd like to book for one night here for two people, please," he said politely.

"That would be six silver coins," she said flatly as she was reading a newspaper.

Hitch then took out a golden coin and laid it on the counter. She then took the golden coin and put four silver coins on the counter, and Hitch put the silver coins in the bag.

"Your room's number five, first floor," she said flatly.

"Thank you," said Hitch. He then pushed the old-looking door open. It creaked loudly, which stung both of his ears. He then glanced into the dark corridor, lit by candles hung on the walls. There were multiple doors set in front of him. He searched for room number five and found it. The door looked extremely creepy like as if the place had been haunted for centuries. There was a humid smell of wood mixed with moss that filled the entire place, and it seemed to be something natural produced by the place itself. He then pulled the door open and found out that he had to push the door instead. He pushed the door and was met with a room lit by candles, and it looked eerie with two single beds that looked like they belonged in an abandoned hospital. The room was filled with a denser smell of humid wood and moss. The room's temperature was cooler than outside, but still bearable compared to the smell. Then Hitch entered the room and glanced around. He noticed that there were shelves full of books. Hitch then let Noah inside the room, and they both lay on the single beds.

"This is quite comfy," said Noah as he bounced on the bed.

"Yeah, but the smell is unbearable," said Hitch, annoyed by the smell.

"Don't worry, I've been in places with worse smells, and just consider yourself lucky that you already have a place to sleep."

"I just want to smell you," said Hitch seductively as he approached Noah on the bed and sniffed his hair before biting softly on his soft neck.

"Getting bold, are we?" Chuckled Noah.

"You're just too damn irresistible," whispered Hitch in Noah's ear, and felt Noah's soft hair touch his face.

"You are also irresistible with that face of yours," said Noah as he cupped Hitch's face and caressed his back. Hitch felt a warmth traveling down his spine and groaned softly.

Hitch then kissed Noah softly on the lips, and Noah kissed him back more deeply. Hitch could savor the powerful flavour of vanilla and strawberry, which was strangely mixed with sunflower oil for some reason. Hitch then wondered while kissing Noah deeply, how come he hadn't detected the taste of sunflower oil before? But he didn't mind; it just added another layer of complexity to the taste of the kiss. They both could feel each other's breath in their mouth and savor it deeply. Hitch wanted more and kissed Noah deeper. Both of their bodies sparked a type of electricity that they had never felt before. His hands then slipped down to Noah's thick, round, firm butt, and Hitch caressed it as though it were something precious. He then squeezed his butt softly. Noah then let out a moan of satisfaction and looked at Hitch as though he was asking for more. Hitch then squeezed again, harder this time, and Noah then moaned deeply. Hitch then looked into Noah's eyes, and their eyes met, and they felt a strong connection with each other, as though they were made for each other. The world felt much smaller when they were kissing each other. They continued caressing each other's backs and butts, and both could feel the softness and firmness of them. Noah then moaned loudly in Hitch's mouth, and he could taste that moan in his mouth. Delicious, Hitch thought. They continued growling at each other hungrily like predators that had caught their prey. Their hearts were pounding heavily in their bodies in sync. Then they let go of the kiss and had their foreheads pressed against one another, and were breathing heavily and out of breath.

"That was one of the best I've ever had," said Noah, out of breath.

"What was the best kiss we ever had then, big guy?"

"The last one we had at that village," said Noah truthfully.

"Wanna do something else?" Hitch asked purely.

"Yeah, let's do something else," said Noah as he regained his breath. Then they both got out of the two single beds that were connected to each other to form one double bed. Hitch then walked to the bookshelves and ran his hands over the books, stopping at the one that caught his interest. It was a book titled 'Lord of Elves' by a certain someone named Goha Joj. He then took the book off the shelf and then jumped on the bed, and made himself comfortable in the bed before he began his book. Noah was then interested by the book Hitch had in his hands.

"What book is it?" Noah asked curiously.

"It's just a novel written by someone from Nokart," said Hitch casually.

"Can you recommend some books?" Noah asked.

"Noah, are you being dumb on purpose, or is it just that you're really dumb? We're in a whole new world that we know nothing of! I can't just recommend some books that I don't even know existed."

"Sorry, babe, I'm just gonna go get myself a book I found interesting," said Noah as he left the bed.

Hitch observed Noah's physics and admired it. The strong back of his was incredibly packed and looked like it could do a piggyback with him. And those thick arms and thighs of his were also very sexy. And of course, we're not going to forget that perfectly round and thick butt of his. Hitch wondered how someone could be so spoiled by genetics like that. The roundness of it and the way he moved and made them jiggle just snapped something inside of Hitch. He was eyeing the butt and not blinking even once upon laying eyes on it. Noah then spun around with a book in his hands. He doesn't seem to have noticed that Hitch eyed his body the entire time when he had his back turned. He then dropped his body on the bed and opened his book. Hitch noticed that the book was titled 'Lady of Bones' by Agatha Know.

"What's your book about, Hitchy?"

"My book talks about a human who obtained the power of the lord of the elves, and he must become the new lord of the elves, but there are conflicts between those who accepted him being their lord and those who don't accept him as their new lord. He's gotta figure out what to do about it. And what about yours?"

"Well, it talks about a woman who'd obtained a power to control an army of skeletons that she can use on battlefields. But she has to side with kingdoms that are at war and must carefully choose her alliances and enemies. It's apparently very political."

"Interesting concept," said Hitch.

"It seemed like we both loved stories about politics," said Noah as he chuckled.

"Yeah, because after my parents' death. One of the things I got from them was hundreds of books. Every time I read one of those books, I feel closer to my parents and remember the times when they used to read books to me. It kind of fills the void inside me, but that was not enough. So I had many therapies to talk to, and it helped m,e but just a little bit. Then you came into my life. At first, I just thought that you were somebody that I could be only friends with at most, and that we'd get to know each other better. Then it turned out that I was kind of into you when we first met. Then you became my boyfriend, and my days with you were some of the best days I had in years. I was finally able to feel something called love and happiness once again. But there's this empty void inside of me that was still eating me from the inside. I hate myself for that! I hate the fact that even though I'm happy and in love with you, I still feel somewhat empty because it's almost as if my body craves more and can't fill its void. I hate myself for that, because I feel happy and loved already enough, but I still want more."

"Babe, you don't have to blame yourself, you know that? I get it, sometimes I want more and more and can't get enough of some food even though I still feel kind of full!" He chuckled.

"It's not that kind of fullness and emptiness and craving! It's something much more profound than just normal needs. It's something deep inside of me that I can barely understand!"

"Don't worry, babe, we're going to find that flower and make you finally truly feel happy and loved. Don't ever forget that I truly love you with all my heart," Noah said softly.

"How could I forget with all of the kisses that we had?" Hitch chuckled.

"I'm feeling kind of tired, don't you? I'm going to sleep," said Noah.

"Let's cuddle up," suggested Hitch.

"Yeah, good idea," said Noah as they cuddled up and hugged each other tightly, and they both breathed in sync, and so did their heartbeats. They then slowly closed their eyes and went into deep sleep, knowing that they had each other and were safe with one another.

Hitch had a weird dream with the crazy cat chasing him down a deep, dark tunnel. She was laughing maniacally and saying weird stuff that disgusted Hitch. He was running as fast as he could, and still the cat was right behind him. Then there was a wall spawned in front of him. He then looked at the cat, and she jumped at him. Then Noah, wearing the armor of a knight, used his sword and swung it at the crazy cat, and was split in half, and her body parts crashed on the ground and painted it red. Hitch then hugged Noah and yelled, 'My hero'. Noah then hugged him back. Hitch was then dropped down a deep, dark well and screamed. Then he landed in a dark water and he swam as fast as he could to the surface, but it never came. He swam and swam, but he couldn't reach the surface. Then he was screaming, but only air bubbles escaped his mouth. The water, which was at first lukewarm, then turned icy cold. The water mercilessly stung his skin like thousands of bees. Then, there was a light that appeared, and he swam to the light. He found himself in a warm and silent place full of mountains and flowers. He then looked at the beautiful rising sun. Then he heard hissing behind him and spun around. There was Noah, but there were hundreds of snakes on his head instead of where his hair was supposed to be. Then he walked to Noah and tried to talk to him, but Noah said nothing. Noah then looked at him warmly and opened his mouth and showed Hitch his tongue, which resembled that of a snake. Hitch was then startled by the sigh he had witnessed. He stepped back a few paces and fell on the ground.

Hitch woke up suddenly from his bizarre dream and panted heavily, and looked at Noah, who was luckily not like how he was in his dream. He was snoring with his mouth snoring. Hitch then rubbed his eyes. He then saw that they were back to normal and the masks were on the floor. The four hours must have finished, and the masks must have fallen off automatically. Hitch then glanced at a clock that indicated that the time was half past nine p.m. He then heard Noah's stomach growl loudly and knew that he had to wake the big guy up and bring both of them to a restaurant. He then shook Noah multiple times and made sure that the guy woke up from his sleep. Hitch then lowered his face close to Noah's butt and bit it sharply. Noah then stirred and slowly opened his eyes and saw Hitch grin just above his face. They then kissed each other softly.

"Babe," said Hitch softly, "it's time for us to eat, you know?"

"Okay, babe, I'm coming," said Noah sleepily.

"Don't forget your mask," whispered Hitch.

"The mask? Weren't we wearing it?"

"You're silly! The mask fell off once it reached four hours of time, and we're now back to normal. Didn't you notice?"

"Yeah, and what about the other masks that you brought?"

"Well, there's one mask that turns us invisible and the other gives us power, but I'll only have one for each. And now's not the time to use it because we're just going to wear our usual masks."

"Alright, are you sure there's a restaurant in this village? Because the village's really small!"

"Yeah, I think the map mentioned it once, and in a small village like this, finding a restaurant should be a piece of cake."

They each then combed their hair with the comb provided by the apartment. The comb broke when Hitch used it on Noah's long hair, but they looked good enough with their current hair. They wore masks and turned into ogres. Hitch then opened the door, and they exited the place and walked to the only place with lights turned on and commotion happening inside. Hitch then walked up to the door and knocked on it. The door opened, and in front of him was a beautiful green dryad.

"Are you here for the restaurant?" She asked.

"Yeah, for two people," said Hitch politely.

"Then come in," she said as she jumped from the threshold and welcomed them in.

They walked in, and there were only ten tables, and eight of them were occupied by at most thirty people in total. The restaurant looked nice from the inside when compared to the outside. It felt warm and gave them that sense of belonging. The interior was decorated with candles, and the wood which was made with was a beautiful brown. Noah then pointed to a table for two people, and they settled themselves in the chairs. They then opened the menu and scanned it rapidly. The dryad then came to them with a pen and a notebook in her hands.

"What would you like to order for the drinks?"

"I'd like a fizzy apple juice, please," said Noah.

"I'd like a cola with ice, please," said Hitch.

"I'll come back for the starters and the main courses," she said as she walked away.

"Don't you think is place is quite silent? Like we can't hear a single person talking in here!" Cried Noah.

"Well, like I used to say, when the food's great, nobody says a thing! And I think that's probably the case for this place here."

The dryad then arrived at their table with two glasses with one filled with fizzy apple juice, which had a brownish gold color to it, and the glass with cola that had a raven color to it. She put them in front of them and walked away to serve other people. They then took a sip from their drink and were marveled by how exquisite their drinks were. Hitch's cola had the intense taste of cola with the perfect mixture of sweet and sour that added a complex layer to it. Noah's fizzy apple was perfectly fizzy, and the apple was sweet to a degree that was incredibly rare to find in an apple. The sourness of the apple was also perfect, not too much, not too little, just perfect. They then exchanged their drinks and got a taste of both drinks, and admired how splendid they were. Then they both finished their original drink and then opened the menu and scanned it rapidly. Then Hitch found a dish that might have caught his interest. It was a double hamburger with fries and a special sauce served with it. Hitch decided to go with that one. Hitch then lifted his eyes from the menu and looked at Noah. Hitch could see that he was feeling conflicted about which dish he should have. Hitch then noticed how his chest fell and rose rhythmically, and he was breathing heavily. He was also sweating heavily, which was indeed odd when you consider the fact that it's quite cool in the place.

"What's wrong, babe?" Hitch asked, looking worried for Noah.

"It's just that I don't know what to choose, and I'm losing my mind! There are too many good dish options that I don't know which one to choose!"

"Don't worry, babe, you can order multiple dishes if you want because the money's on me," said Hitch reassuringly.

"Really? Thanks, babe, because I have at least five dishes in mind that I want to eat!"

"Five dishes!" Repeated Hitch in disbelief, "Are you sure that you can finish all of them?"

"Don't worry, babe, I have a huge appetite from all of those bulking sessions I had!"

"Fine then, but if you can't finish, I'll help you finish them," said Hitch.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure to leave you some so that you can at least get a taste of all my food!"

"Alright, do you want to order now?"

"Yeah, let's order now."

"Let's just wait for the dryad to come," said Hitch casually.

The dryad then arrived at their table with a pen and a piece of paper.

"What would you like to order, gentlemen?"

"I would like the double burger with a side of fries and served with the special sauce," said Hitch automatically.

"For me, I would like to have the Taligon salad, and the crispy steaks with a side of chips, and also a tartare steak with eggs on it, and also add the grilled tomato filled with cheese inside, and also a carrot cake for dessert!"

"Would that be all, gentlemen?"

"Yes," confirmed Noah.

The dryad then took the menu from them and walked to the kitchen. Both of them then thought of something to pass the time.

"Hey, babe, do you wanna play something with me?" Asked Noah.

"Yeah, sure, what game do you want to play?"

"Heads or tails," said Noah casually.

"Sure, why not?"

Hitch then took the heavy sack of coins out of his pocket and pulled out one silver coin from it. He then looked at Noah and then flipped the coin high into the air, and then it landed on the table spinning to the point that it looked like a silver blur.

"Heads or tails?" Hitch asked seriously.

"Heads," replied Noah.

Then the coin kept spinning for over a minute before it stopped without falling on either side. It was standing, keeping its balance perfect on the wooden table.

"Seems like we both lost," said Hitch.

"Let's try another round," said Noah.

Hitch then took the standing coin and flipped it high into the air, and then it landed spinning rapidly on the table, and it looked like a silver blur. The coin kept spinning for over a minute, and then it stopped and stood without falling on either side. They then pulled a confused look and looked at the coin tensely, expecting it to fall at any moment.

"We're really unlucky," said Noah.

"Let's try another time!"

They then continued for over ten rounds, and the coin kept standing without falling. They were both extremely confused by their luck to be able to pull this off. The waitress arrived at their table with a bowl of salad in one arm and in the other arm was a plate of the double burger with a side of fries. She then laid the salad in front of Noah and laid the burger in front of Hitch.

"Seemed like as if you guys were trying a game of heads or tails," she murmured.

"How did you know?" Noah asked curiously.

"Because I've noticed that there's a coin standing on the table. I bet you guys are probably new to the new system installed on the coins. They never fall on one side, ever."

"How's that possible?" Hitch gasped as he observed the standing coin.

"Because the government decided to install a new system to prevent the act of heads or tails."

"Yeah, but how?"

"Because they've installed a spell that would always make it stand when it falls to prevent the act of heads or tails."

"Yeah, but why are they trying to prevent an act in a simple game?"

"I don't think you guys must have known this, but half of Nokart isn't governed by politicians. The other half was left by people of anarchism, and it's a deadly place where there are no rules or laws and no authorities. Not only that, the act of heads or tails was a way that they would use to play deadly games that decide the life of somebody, or even worse. You guys must have read it from a book without knowing the origin of this game. Here is your food, and bon appétit!" She said as she left them.

"Did you hear what she said? She said that half of Nokart isn't governed by politicians and that they're ruled by dangerous people," said Hitch.

"Yeah, but why is that so shocking to you?" Noah asked curiously.

"Because Julika told me that this place isn't full of conflict or war and is a place full of wonder!"

"Maybe she was just talking about this half and forgot to mention how the other half is like!"

"Yeah, but I thought that this place wasn't something like how Earth was! I thought that I'd finally found a place where there's no war and no problems! Instead, it's actually worse than back on Earth! Can you imagine that half the planet is ruled by savages?"

"Well, if we just don't go to that part and ignore it, we should be just fine! Just don't think too much about that other half, it'll give you too much of a headache. I know how much you detested war and stuff like that. But don't let it ruin your life."

"How could I not think about it?!" Cried Hitch angrily, "People's lives are getting ruined by other people, people are dying left and right, kids are getting ripped away from their futures, and all sorts of horrible things that happen in war! It's just too much to think about!" Hitch then was panting heavily, and Noah left his seat to come and hug Hitch tightly.

"Shhh," murmured Noah, "don't worry, babe, you're safe here with me! And that's what matters the most now. You don't have to worry about anything anymore."

"Thanks, babe," sobbed Hitch as he could feel Noah's firm chest against his face, and he wiped his tears with Noah's shirt. Noah then kissed Hitch softly on his head and then caressed his back softly. Hitch then got control of himself and stopped crying, and then he hugged Noah's waist tightly, intending to never let go of it. Noah then kissed Hitch's head softly. Then they both let go of each other, and Noah went back to his seat. He then grabbed the fork and knife and used them to eat his salad. He then slowly reached for his fork and knife, and he did take some time to do that. He then steadied himself and put himself in the perfect posture of someone who's going to dine.

They then spent time chatting with each other playfully and had some fun in a discussion. Noah then talked about the conspiracy about birds and how they are government spies sent out throughout the entire world to listen to people's conversations and steal their data. Hitch laughed at it and told Noah that it was one of the dumbest theories he had ever heard. Noah then defended his theory by saying that the birds always flew away when people walked close to them because they don't want to get caught and revealed to be a robotic mechanism that listens to people's conversations. Hitch then said that the true reason they fly away when people get close to them was because they didn't want to get eaten, and Noah then couldn't say anything more. Hitch then asked why Noah's so interested in conspiracy theories.

"Well, the true reason was that I always thought that the government was always controlling the population and observing them from afar. Then they could know the population's interest and create new social standards to please and control the population. And I don't like the fact that my life is always being monitored and controlled. I wanna feel free from those social standards, and also I wanna be free from everything that I know of. I hate being monitored because I hate the fact that I can't be myself, and I can't do anything about it. I wanna be free and don't have to worry about society's expectations of me. That's why I hate being homeschooled. I just think that schools are places that shape and control kids' lives in a direction that would most profit society economically or other way. That's what schools are to me, nothing but mere factories that create genius for society's sake."

"That's an interesting perception of the world," admitted Hitch.

"Yeah, but you can disagree if you want to," said Noah.

"No, I'll just leave you with your perception of the world."

"And what do you think about school, Hitchy?"

"I just think that school is a marvelous place to make friends and learned about things that are practically useless in real life," said Hitch casually.

"The lentil and bean tartare steak is really good with eggs, you know? Do you want to try?"

"Don't worry, Noah, I'm already fully," said Hitch.

"What's your favourite dish?" Noah asked curiously.

"Thinking about it, it's probably veggie pizzas," said Hitch.

"Of course it's going to be pizza! Everybody says that!"

"And what's your favourite dish then?"

"It's probably the ramen from Japan," said Noah.

"I also really like vegetarian ramen, they're delicious!"

"I have a question, Hitchy, are you really twenty years old? Because you looked as if you were still sixteen."

"Oh my god! How many times do I need to tell people that I'm twenty years old and not sixteen years old! Don't judge a book by its cover."

They then finished their dishes and paid for them. They were the last people in the restaurant to exit the place. Then Hitch pointed out something he noticed.

"Don't you think it's odd that the moon is still full after two nights?"

"Maybe here always has the full moon?"

"Never mind, let's go back to our room," Hitch then arrived at the apartment and opened the door to their room. Hitch then let Noah enter the place and locked the door, and then they both made themselves comfortable on the bed and cuddled each other tightly. Noah was hugging Hitch tightly, intending to never let go, and so did Hitch. The two souls then slowly drifted from their bodies and began their heavy slumber. They were both breathing in sync, and so were their heartbeats.
