"It's you, you little brat! This time it has nothing to do with you, so don't interfere!"
Seeing Ash appear, Jessie was so furious that she gritted her teeth. It was a rare occasion when they weren't trying to catch Pikachu, but the troublesome kid still showed up to get in their way.
"Pika!"
Pikachu glared at the captured Pokemon with determined eyes and prepared to battle. Seeing this, Ash quickly stopped Pikachu.
"Pikachu, wait! If you attack here, you'll hurt the other Pokemon."
Pikachu would normally be the most suitable to launch an attack underwater, but now they were all below the surface, along with the gym's Pokemon. If Pikachu launched an electric attack, everyone would be affected.
Pikachu understood what Ash meant and could only temporarily suppress the anger burning in its heart.
"Hmph! In that case, let's capture Pikachu as well! Go, Weezing!"
Seeing that Pikachu was unable to attack, James felt confident and decided to catch Pikachu too. He seemed to have completely forgotten that he was underwater and threw his Poke Ball directly.

After hearing the command, Pikachu immediately swam upward. The metallic shine appeared on its tail, and then it swung forcefully, striking directly at the rope holding the Pokemon net.
The rope was instantly severed, and the gym's Pokemon were temporarily safe. Watching this scene, Jessie gritted her teeth in frustration.
"Damn it! Arbok, use Bite!"
Seeing Pikachu interfering with their plans, Jessie immediately gave her order. Upon hearing the command, Arbok rushed directly toward Pikachu.
Underwater, Pikachu's movements weren't as flexible as on land, but Arbok was much more agile than Pikachu in the water. It opened its mouth wide to bite the Electric-type Pokemon.
"Squirtle!"
Ash immediately called out when he saw this. At that moment, Squirtle was swimming through the water, leaving long trails like a torpedo.
Just as Arbok was about to bite, Squirtle rushed in front of Pikachu, using Withdraw to pull its body directly into its shell, suddenly increasing its defense. Arbok ended up biting down on Squirtle's hard shell instead.

Biting the solid shell sent shock waves through Arbok, who was in so much pain it nearly brought tears to its eyes. Apparently, its attack couldn't break through Squirtle's defense at all.
"Excellent!" Ash exclaimed after witnessing this scene and was about to have Squirtle retreat.
"Squirtle!"
But then he heard Squirtle making sounds from inside its shell. Ash paused slightly after hearing this, and then saw Squirtle suddenly begin spinning violently within Arbok's mouth.
Arbok's expression became even more agonized, as if an electric drill was spinning in its mouth, threatening to knock out all its teeth.
"That should be it!" Ash looked at this scene, realizing it wasn't just an ordinary Rapid Spin.
"Squirtle, Squirtle, Squirtle!"
As Squirtle continued to call out, massive blue water columns suddenly emerged from the holes in Squirtle's rotating shell—from its head, arms, and legs.
WHOOSH!
Five powerful water jets shot from the openings in Squirtle's head and limbs respectively, and with the rotation of its body, they were blasted directly into Arbok's mouth.
SPLASH!
Arbok let out a scream as the incredibly powerful water columns sent it flying uncontrollably out of the water, its body continuously crashing into the surrounding coral decorations.
"Hydro Pump?!"
Ash could feel the water flowing around them. Due to the water columns released during Squirtle's rotation, the surrounding water was being dramatically affected. Ash immediately recognized the move Squirtle had used.
"Has Squirtle already learned Hydro Pump?" Misty was also amazed. Hydro Pump was the ultimate move among Water-type Pokemon techniques.
As a Water-type Pokemon Trainer, she didn't have a single Pokemon that had mastered Hydro Pump, but Ash's Squirtle had already learned this powerful move.
"Squirtle!"
At this moment, Squirtle also stopped its motion and emerged from its shell with an excited expression. It was clearly very happy to have learned such an impressive new technique.

The bottom of the hot air balloon's basket opened, and a mechanical arm extended downward. A propeller similar to a large fan was installed at the front of the robotic arm.
The mechanical arm lowered the propeller directly into the water, and then Meowth pressed another button. The propeller began spinning rapidly.
Soon, the water flow of the entire swimming pool was being manipulated. The propeller's power was substantial, and as it rotated, a whirlpool gradually formed on the water's surface.
Because the propeller's force was so strong, the entire pool was being churned, and the power of the vortex gradually spread to the bottom of the swimming area.
"Pika!"
Pikachu, the other gym Pokemon, and even Ash and Misty were all pulled in uncontrollably.
In this situation, even the Water-type Pokemon couldn't escape. They were all being sucked into the whirlpool. Ash instinctively grabbed onto a nearby coral reef decoration.
But the Pokemon and Misty were inevitably caught in the whirlpool and found themselves in a critical situation.
