"Thank you for your advice!"

Upon hearing this, Ash was slightly startled, but he quickly regained his composure. He spread his hands with a gesture that clearly indicated that now that he knew the truth, he would dare to act again next time.

The current situation meant that even if he wanted to hide, he couldn't escape what was coming. Under these circumstances, he might as well continue to oppose them and make their lives difficult!

Ash had guessed the identity of the young man standing before him, but he hadn't expected that this person would take the initiative to warn him to stay away from Team Rocket.

The boy could tell that Ash's response was nothing more than empty words, and he rolled his eyes without saying anything further. However, he knew deep in his heart that if Ash continued to fight against Team Rocket, the two of them would inevitably have to battle each other sooner or later.

The thing was, he didn't want to use such circumstances to determine who was stronger. If he was going to settle things with Ash, he wanted to have a proper, fair contest with him.

ROOOOAR!

At that moment, a piercing and violent roar echoed through the air once again. Both trainers heard the sound and instinctively looked through the glass window toward the volcano. The fire and smoke rising from Cinnabar Volcano appeared to be growing even more intense than before.

"I can't talk anymore. I have to leave right now! Thank you so much for everything today."

Ash took out his Poké Balls and recalled both Charmeleon and Pikachu, then turned around and waved his hand casually as he prepared to depart.

The young man felt even more exasperated when he witnessed this. Here was someone being completely dismissive again, acting as if he was ready to start another conversation when he was clearly planning to rush straight toward the danger. It was obvious that Ash intended to head directly to the volcano, which meant he was still determined to oppose Team Rocket.

"My name is Ash. What's yours?" Although he already had a strong suspicion about the boy's identity, Ash decided to ask before leaving, hoping to confirm his guess.

"Silver! My name is Silver!"

"I understand. See you later!" Ash thought to himself after hearing the response.

However, he didn't show any sign of recognition, even though he could have guessed the truth much earlier. He simply hadn't expected Silver to appear in this particular place.

In his previous life, the character Silver had made his first appearance in the video games as a character who appeared in the second-generation Gold and Silver versions.

Silver served as the rival to the second-generation protagonist. His background was far from simple—he was the son of Giovanni, the boss of Team Rocket. In both the games and the manga series, he had been kidnapped as a young child and subjected to specialized training.

This harsh upbringing had shaped him into someone with a cold and withdrawn personality, though Ash felt that while Silver's demeanor was certainly unusual, it wasn't quite as extreme as what had been described in the games and manga.

In the Pokémon Adventures manga, there had been other people kidnapped along with Silver, including Green, who was a childhood friend of both Ash and Gary in that storyline.

After the two children were abducted, they endured cruel training together, but Green had always treated Silver like a younger brother and eventually managed to escape with him.

Following their escape, Silver began searching for clues about his true origins, since he had been kidnapped when he was only two years old. Later, he successfully uncovered the mystery surrounding his birth and identity.

No one would have imagined that he was the son of the leader of Team Rocket, the largest criminal organization operating throughout both the Kanto and Johto regions.

However, in this world, Green had never been kidnapped, so Ash didn't know whether Silver had experienced the same trauma. He hadn't asked about it either, since it would be extremely strange to randomly ask someone if they had ever been kidnapped. Such a question would be far too suspicious and might expose his unusual knowledge.

But considering Silver's personality after being kidnapped in the manga series, he probably shouldn't have been able to save Ash the way he did, right?

Since Ash couldn't figure out the inconsistency, he decided not to worry about it further. He opened the door and left the room while Silver stood there without attempting to block his path. Now that Ash had his Pokémon back, those Team Rocket grunts outside wouldn't be able to stop him at all.

However, Silver turned around and gazed in the direction of Cinnabar Volcano through the window. After a moment of contemplation, he also departed from the room.

Cinnabar Volcano

CRACK!

Within the churning magma, a blazing form burst forth from the molten rock, accompanied by a thunderous cry. Its entire body was wreathed in intense flames, and as its eyes opened slightly within the fire, its burning wings spread wide. Its body gradually emerged from the flames, revealing itself to be the legendary Fire-type Pokémon, Moltres.

"Finally!" Archer couldn't help but sneer with satisfaction when he witnessed this scene.

The tremendous explosion from earlier seemed to have wounded Moltres significantly. There were numerous scars visible across its body, and its eyes radiated an incredible fury.

"Begin the capture sequence! Deploy the containment devices!"

Archer observed the situation and wasted no time. He issued direct orders, and the three helicopters adjusted their positions accordingly. Then, simultaneously, they launched the same type of glass containment spheres that had been used to capture Ash and Pikachu, directing them toward Moltres.

SCREEECH!

Moltres watched this development unfold and responded with rage, launching a devastating Flamethrower attack. Although it had sustained injuries, the legendary Pokémon had also absorbed energy from the surrounding magma and recovered a substantial portion of its strength. The attack struck one of the glass spheres with incredible heat, enhanced by both the natural power of the volcanic environment and Moltres' own abilities.

The power of the flames increased dramatically due to these favorable conditions, and the direct hit completely shattered and melted the glass containment device. Two spheres were destroyed in rapid succession, but a third sphere approached from behind Moltres, opened directly, and managed to trap the legendary bird within its confines.

"Did we catch it?" Ariana asked hopefully as she observed the scene unfolding.

CRACK!

The eyes of the trapped Moltres blazed with intensity as it folded its wings against its chest and released searing flames from throughout its body. In an instant, the entire containment sphere was engulfed in fire.

BOOM!

With a thunderous explosion, the glass sphere shattered completely, sending waves of flame spreading outward in all directions. Moltres burst free from the inferno at the same moment.

"It actually broke free!" Ariana exclaimed with surprise.

"This environment is far too advantageous for Moltres. Activate the cooling beams!"

Archer understood that in such surroundings, Moltres' power would continue to increase indefinitely, with the intense heat of the volcanic environment serving as a constant source of energy for the Fire-type legendary.

"Yes, sir!"

Following Archer's command, all three helicopters immediately took action, targeting the bubbling magma below. They opened cannon ports from the hatches underneath their aircraft.

Cold energy began to condense and was released directly toward the molten rock below, creating a frigid aura that stood in complete opposition to the scorching atmosphere of the volcanic crater.

The freezing beams struck the surface of the magma with tremendous force. When the intense cold made contact with the molten rock, the bubbling magma began to cool rapidly. Soon, the entire pool of magma within the volcano's mouth had solidified into hardened lava.

Although the extreme heat didn't dissipate immediately, compared to the previous temperature, the area had become significantly cooler than before. The cooling beams continued their output, and the temperature kept dropping steadily.

SCREEEECH!

Moltres seemed to sense that something was terribly wrong with its environment. The legendary Fire-type immediately launched a Fire Spin attack, directing the spiraling flames toward Archer's helicopter.
