Anthony and Vega sat in the back seat as the car tore through the air with blitzing speed. An AI operated the car while Anthony and Vega simply relaxed, enjoying each other's company.
Anthony held Vega's hand in his as they sat close together and engaged in light conversation, their fingers interlocked like two pieces of a puzzle.
"So… where are we going?" Vega asked, tilting her head slightly as her purple eyes looked curiously at him.
"Hmm… I didn't really plan it," Anthony replied with a soft tone, "but do you have anything or any place in mind?"
Vega, upon hearing that he had made no plans, didn't complain. Instead, she simply smiled and asked, "How about dinner then?"
"Whatever you say, Vee," Anthony replied with a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
After two days of back-and-forth texting and subtle flirting, they had grown more comfortable with each other. Anthony now called Vega, 'Vee,' while Vega, in return, affectionately called him 'Ant.'
