An Yan knew what he was thinking; she herself had no intention of infiltrating the Matsumoto Group. Her aim in becoming the deputy director was simply to let Matsumoto Mina know that she could no longer rule the Matsumoto Group unchallenged.

When An Yan came out of the director's office, no one dared to look her in the eye; all hung their heads like quails, fearful of incurring her wrath.
Upon receiving the notice, Kato Takeshi was beside himself. After much thought, he took a card from his locker and sneaked off to find An Yan.
"Miss Saori, it's all my fault for being blind. Please, please don't hold it against me!"
