"BOOM!!"
The giant, like a kite with its string cut, fell from the high platform. His shoulder brushed against the smooth ground, emitting a sharp scraping sound as he tumbled several times before finally coming to a complete stop.
He lay on the ground, looking bewilderedly at his own fist.
He didn't mean to hit the face; the boss doesn't like it.
It was the carotid artery in the neck he hit.
Why didn't the boss dodge?
Pondering led to no answers.
Without thinking, he got up from the ground, dusted off his clothing, and walked to the side. He picked up a glass water bottle, small like a toy, pried off the metal cap with his bare hands, and gulped down several mouthfuls until the flow of water abruptly stopped.
He shook the bottle up and down; not a drop was left. He then effortlessly twisted open another bottle, his indifferent gaze slightly unfocused.
So thirsty.
Next time I'll go out and crush a few dogs from the X organization for fun.
