The officer hesitated for a moment before speaking up.
"Boss, shouldn't we propose to the higher-ups once more to bring a few more powerful Exorcists to take a look?"
Bulson opened his eyes and looked amusingly at the back of the officer's head.
"What, you believe what those guys have been saying?"
"I didn't believe it at first, but... But the things that have happened lately are just too coincidental..."
"Yes... Definitely too coincidental!"
Bulson didn't refute his subordinate's observation, because the events that had transpired lately indeed seemed bizarre to him as well.
The crashed bus, the exploded airplane, the collapsed bridge...
Each accident left several lucky survivors, sometimes more than a dozen, sometimes just a few.
But these lucky folks would subsequently perish in later accidents.
Everything appeared like a Death List; those who escaped one disaster were only to be pursued by the Grim Reaper.
