Donnie Block's words made Jack Morgan fall into deep thought.
Although Morgan Stanley is still under his control for now,
Morgan has clearly felt that once power is delegated, reclaiming it is not that easy.
Previously, Jack Morgan thought that even if he wasn't around, his descendants could change policies in the future to merge the two Morgan entities into one.

Jack Morgan even began to worry that even if he were still around, he might not be able to unite the two Morgan entities!
Reminded by Donnie, Jack Morgan instinctively wanted to seek Donnie's help, but soon he abandoned the idea.
He acknowledged a firm alliance with Donnie.
But no matter how firm the alliance, they are still two separate entities. Now, even Morgan Stanley, controlled by his son and former partner, seems to want total independence.
If he sought Donnie's help, would he be receiving help or inviting a wolf into the house?
On this point, Jack Morgan dared not take the gamble.
