Under such circumstances, Helen is going to campaign in various cities in New Jersey about the dangers of radium products.
As a qualified politician, Edwards knows all too well what kind of reaction such a situation will provoke.
"Governor, you should know that Donnie never speaks without serious intent on such major issues!" Helen said gravely.
"Of course I know that!" Edwards replied, "But I believe in Mr. Block, though it doesn't mean the entire New Jersey populace will. People have a rebellious psychology, and I also believe the businesses behind these radium products will certainly make an issue of this.
I've even heard that some members of the Democratic Party are gathering these people together!"
