Long Chen and Chu Lingjun fled at an extreme speed, arriving within another large mountain range in the blink of an eye. This range had little vegetation and was full of caves, which was why they chose it. This way, they wouldn't have to worry about a repeat of what had happened earlier.
However, before Long Chen and Chu Lingjun could even catch their breath, they sensed several powerful auras approaching them again. This puzzled Long Chen greatly. How can they know our location so precisely?
"Could we have some kind of mark on us? Is that why they're able to catch up so quickly?" Long Chen voiced his speculation.
"Very likely." Upon hearing this, Chu Lingjun immediately tried to sense for any foreign energy on her body, but she found nothing.
Long Chen's brow furrowed slightly. It seems the mark must be on me.
