Yu Xi jumped onto the bed, and before Gu Linhan could sit up, she had leapt onto him, hugging him tightly.
Gu Linhan was startled.
But, feeling Yu Xi's joyous emotions quickly infecting him, Gu Linhan also followed suit, tightly hugging Yu Xi from behind.
Yu Xi hugged hard, then realized something was wrong.
Suddenly, she thought of his arm.
She abruptly stopped.
"How's your arm?"
She pulled his arm apart and looked down to check.
Gu Linhan said, "Ouch, it hurts..."
"Ah? I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."
Seeing this, Gu Linhan finally laughed, "I was kidding you, you didn't touch it, it doesn't hurt anymore, the surgery is over."
Upon hearing this, Yu Xi went up and slapped him hard, "How dare you trick me!"
"Okay, okay, I was wrong." Gu Linhan once again pulled her into his embrace.
The two held each other tightly, no words needed, using each other's warmth to convey the worry, anxiety, and longing of the past days.
