Kamille took a deep breath and nodded as he kissed Rise's hand. It seemed he had been so worried for the past couple of days.
He did not speak or ask. Rise; let Kamille savor the moment. It took a few moments before Kamille finally calmed down. Rise patted the side next to him, and Kamille quickly sat on it, holding him closer.
Nestled in Kamille's embrace, he started the conversation.
"Kamille, I know that you... died. And is resurrected. Can you tell me what happened? Why are you suddenly exhibiting mana unique to a noble?"
Rise actually had a lot of questions, but these were his primary ones.
Kamille did not immediately answer him but asked something else instead.
"Why don't you eat first? We'll talk after you eat."
It had been two days since Rise last ate, and with his injury, though already healed, further recovery was needed.
