"Impressive," Tien Shinhan remarked, feeling a jolt of surprise at the energy sphere's potency.
"Too slow, though," Piccolo observed, noticing both the strength and the drawback of the sphere. He and Gohan quickly retreated to avoid the blast.
Vegeta and Napa, however, stood their ground calmly, showing no intention of dodging or defending.
As the energy sphere approached, Krillin guided it towards the sky, where it split into several energy beams. Four beams targeted Vegeta and Napa, while the remaining two aimed at the dodging opponent.
"Boom! Boom!" The scene erupted with explosions as the energy sphere detonated.
The opponent was immediately taken out, while Vegeta and Napa endured significant damage from the explosions, creating large craters and engulfing them in smoke.
Vegeta, unaffected by the explosion thanks to his psychic shield, found the situation dull. Despite the fact that neither he nor Napa would have been harmed by Krillin's energy sphere, Vegeta preferred not to get dirty, so he used his psychic shield.
Napa, originally preparing to use his energy for defense, noticed the explosion was perfectly intercepted by an invisible force. He looked at Vegeta with a mix of awe and suspicion, understanding that Vegeta was responsible for the shield. This realization made Napa's respect for Vegeta grow, although it was tinged with fierce admiration.
Vegeta was indifferent to Napa's internal changes, knowing Napa well. Despite Napa's volatile and ruthless nature, his loyalty was unwavering, and Vegeta valued that loyalty highly.
