"Illusion" had finally appeared and delivered a knife blow directly to Mizuhiro's neck. He dropped to the ground as the blood drained from his neck.
"No!" Terica shouted as it became clear that Mizuhiro's life was about to end.
Toro had immediately made his way to the ring and stood face to face with "Illusion".
"He was about to surrender. Why did you kill him?" Toro asked as his veins bulged in anger.
"Hahahaha! It'd be much too boring for this fight to end with a forfeit! I need to see a little bloodshed to really enjoy a fight." "Illusion" said as he cackled.
"Mark my words, you'll die for this." Toro threatened.
"Ha! As I'd be intimidated by such a threat." "Illusion" said, trying to hide how scared he actually was.
"All personnel not involved in the next match need to vacate the arena at once as the next match will be under way soon." An official announced.
Toro returned to the waiting area where the rest of the team was. When he arrived he saw Terica sobbing uncontrollably on the ground.
"You! You shouldn't have ever let Mizuhiro fight him! I told you! This is all your fault!" Terica shouted at him as she slapped him in the face.
"You're absolutely right. I selfishly wanted to use Mizuhiro's power to win this battle, but it resulted in his death. It's fine for you to hate me for this, but for now, the rest of us have to move forward." Toro responded, seemingly unmoved.
"Do you not even care? Do you not even care that your friend is dead? Some friend you are!" She said continuing her hysterics.
"Calm down," Margarita said as she put her arms around her. "He's hurting, but he's not letting it break through the surface. He's letting his rage burn and gone his focus into a razor sharp blade. A blade that will cut our enemy down."
