The two walk all the way to Sol City and finally arrive at Sword Saint Academy. The entire city is decorated for "that" time of the year: The Trial By Sword. This brutal trial will determine who gets to become a professional sword saint or not. Over 100 participants are out training before the trial but Xzaivier couldn't care less about training, right now he has one person and only one person in mind: Zephyr. He wanted to destroy him but the time wasn't right yet. Before getting back to training again Xzaivier took a little break, he grabbed some lunch alone, read a book and even took a nap before running into his teammates from team X.
[Sword Saint Academy, 15:00 o'clock]
Yagumi: Ah... If it isn't the little run away.
Sensei Gara: Yagumi... That's not a very nice thing to say to your own teammate.
Yagumi: Oh but it's true Sensei.
Jin: Hmmmmm... You've grown.
Xzaivier: So have you. You've probably both gotten way weaker.
Yagumi: Hmph, looks like the little runaway has grown a bit more arrogant huh. Hey, don't ever forget that you're nothing but an ant in the presence of a lion.
Jin: Indeed Xzaivier, you've probably gotten a little stronger or whatever but we've certainly not gotten weaker.
Yagumi: You have to admit Jin, you have gotten a bit weaker.
Jin: (angry) Look here you egotistical rat! If anyone's gotten weaker it's certainly you, not me.
Yagumi: That's no way to talk to your leader!
Jin: Leader!? Since when did we have a leader!?
Yagumi: Since I said so!
Xzaivier: Captain ego. Doing what he does best.
Yagumi: Say that again!
Xzaivier: Maybe if you're ego wasn't so high you'd actually be the leader. Unfortunately for you two, only the strongest are capable of leading.
Jin and Yagumi: You aren't the strongest, I'm the strongest! No! Me!
The three get in eachother's faces and glare at eachother. Amai giggles.
Xzaivier, Yagumi and Jin: What are you laughing at!?
Amai: Nothing, nothing.
Sensei Gara: Hmmm... I see there's a bit of tension between you three. How about a spar. Yes a spar. A friendly old spar before the trials to get you all in tip top shape.
Xzaivier, Yagumi and Jin: That's actually an amazing idea. I said it first! No! Me!
Sensei Gara leads the three to the academy's sparring arena but the tension between the three only sky rockets.
Jin: You know, I don't even have a legendary blade and I could fold you two in half with ease, You guy's sure that you want this battle... Weaklings?
Yagumi and Xzaivier: Weaklings?! I'll kill YOUUUU!!!
Xzaivier and Yagumi glare at eachother.
Sensei Gara: Hey Amai...
Amai: Sensei Gara?
Sensei Gara: Stay. Let's witness what each of their individual training has actually benefited them. I can't wait to see their new skills.
Sensei Gara puts his hand on his bandaged eye while smirking. His eyes flaring with excitement.
Sensei Gara: It almost makes me wanna join in myself.
Amai looks scared.
Amai: Sensei...
Sensei Gara: My apologies. I don't know what came over me. Let's just see what this free for all entails.
[Back to the fight]
Yagumi: Alright, this is a three man free for all, got it you extras?
Xzaivier: Why are you the one announcing it?!
Yagumi: Because I'm the leader of course.
Jin: I'm the one with the highest skill rating, if anyone's the leader, it would be me.
Yagumi: Let's just get to the fighting you extras.
Xzaivier: Bring it on then!
Xzaivier unsheathes his shadow blade, Yagumi unsheathes his Grim Reaper Blades, Jin unsheathes his katana in reverse grip.
The 3 charge at eachother.
Sensei Gara: This is gonna be good.
Sensei Gara watches intently and urges Amai to do the same.
The three charge at eachother and clash. Xzaivier and Jin engage in a fierce battle of speed as Xzaivier makes use of his shadow step and Jin makes use of his speed Kanji. Jin obviously is faster. Yagumi Uses his Grim reaper step to match their speed and join in the clash. The three unleash barrages of energy slashes upon each other but they all dodge each other's attacks and parry each other away.
Yagumi: I'm getting excited you extras, i think it's time to add a little flavor to this little brawl.
Yagumi smirks.
Yagumi: ULTIMATE SKILL: GRIM REAPER SCORPION WHIP. The Grim reaper blades extend until they're just two long metallic whips as Yagumi activates his ultimate skill (Every legendary blade whether it's a top 11 or a common legendary blade has 3 default skills: A step skill, for example: the shadow step for the shadow blade or the flash/wind step for the wind blade... etc. The second skill is a slash skill, for example: Shadow slash for the shadow blade or the Grim Reaper slash for the Grim Reaper Blades... etc. The last default skill is the ultimate skill, for example: The multi shadow slash for Xzaivier, ultimate skills are different for everyone).
Xzaivier and Jin notice the new ultimate skill. Yagumi cracks the metal whips and retorts.
Yagumi: Not so weak now huh?!
Yagumi chuckles his eyes and his grim reaper scorpion whips flaring with dark violent energy.
Amai: wow!!!!
Sensei Gara: Ah, his ultimate skill. How glamorous.
Xzaivier scowls as he and his body flare with the shadowy energy of the shadow blade before preparing his ultimate skill.
Jin sighs.
Jin: (muttering) show offs.
Jin raises his blade before flashing to Yagumi, surprisingly Yagumi could see Jin and was using his incredibly fast blade whip to try and stop his assault but Jin barely dodges each strike before getting within slashing range. Jin strikes but Yagumi blocks with the blade whip causing a tremendous clash.
A shockwave shakes the entire Academy, curious academy sword saints find out that the shockwave was the result of Team X's sparring match and inform others. Soon the every academy sword saint's watching.
Xzaivier glances at the crowd and scoffs.
Xzaivier: (in his mind) Witness my ultimate skill!
Xzaivier hops into the air and shouts "Multi shadow slash" before horizontally slashing the air and unleashing an energy slash that splits into Hundreds of energy slashes.
Xzaivier: This is the end!
Yagumi and Jin grunt and they take a look at the hundreds of energy slashes that threaten to incinerate them aswell as Xzaivier who's behind the hundreds of slashes.
The entire crowd: Wow...
Sensei Gara: So this is your ultimate skill, Xzaivier. Impressive...
