Chapter 296 - 295 Dressrosa, Chibaku Tensei

Kuina pressed her hands together, her arms trembling as if they could barely endure the strain. Her delicate face twisted in pain, beads of sweat rolling down her forehead.

With all her strenght, she condensed a tiny, 1cm black sphere in her palms.

"Pfft—"

The moment it formed, a thin stream of blood trickled from her nose. But instead of concern, Kuina smiled.

"Brother Lynch, did you see that? I did it!"

After hundreds of days and nights of training, she had finally succeeded—she had solidified gravity into a tangible form.

Suppressing her excitement, she slowly opened her hands and released the black sphere.

It floated upward, rising higher and higher until it reached the sky.

From below, it looked like a tiny black speck merging with the sun.

"What… is that!?"

The sunlight around it began to fade.

The small black dot expanded, devouring the surrounding light until it became a new black sun, replacing the original one in the sky.

Everything dimmed.

Darkness. Emptiness. A chilling, deathly silence.

An overwhelming sense of dread filled the air.

Doflamingo's instincts screamed at him. His Observation Haki flared in panic, warning him of imminent doom.

A sharp, needle-like pain pricked at his mind—he had only felt this once before.

It was the same feeling he had when facing Lynch's ultimate attack.

Which meant…

If he didn't escape—he was going to die.

"Impossible…!"

Doflamingo's heart pounded in shock.

Everyone under Lynch is a monster!

"Chibaku Tensei!"

Kuina forced her trembling arms to close her palms, her body on the verge of collapse. With every word she spoke, more blood dripped from her nose.

Her body screamed in exhaustion—both physically and mentally.

But she didn't care.

With one final effort, she gritted her teeth and clasped her hands together.

The technique was activated.

A cataclysmic gravitational force erupted from the black sphere in the sky.

Massive trees were ripped from their roots, their trunks twisting as they were sucked upward. The ground itself cracked and tore apart, houses and boulders, some weighing hundreds of tons, were pulled into the air.

The Donquixote Family members below had no chance—they, too, were lifted off the ground, helpless against the force.

A towering mountain, over a hundred meters high, shattered into debris and was absorbed into the ever-growing black sphere.

Within a ten-mile radius, the entire landscape transformed into chaos. Everything—earth, stone, and people—floated toward the sky, drawn mercilessly toward the black sun.

Doflamingo was no exception.

Despite planting his feet firmly on a massive chunk of land, he was pulled upward against his will.

He frantically shot out his "Sky's Path" threads, trying to escape, but no matter how much he struggled, the overwhelming gravity pulled him in.

"Anything that gets sucked in is crushed instantly... If I get pulled in, I'm finished!"

Doflamingo's heart pounded in panic.

That weak little girl had suddenly become his most terrifying opponent.

With no other choice, he decided on a desperate gamble—

He would attack the black sphere itself!

The black sphere had long disappeared from view.

What was once a tiny 1cm ball had grown into a monstrous mass, now hundreds of meters wide, engulfed by layers of debris.

"Spider's Web Wall!"

Doflamingo spread his arms wide, unleashing thousands of nearly invisible silk threads, weaving them into a massive web.

But gravity was relentless. The immense pressure compressed the material layer by layer, making the sphere's surface dozens of times harder than before.

His supposedly indestructible Spider's Web Wall, stronger than steel, barely cut a few dozen meters into the mass before getting stuck.

Under the crushing force, the web was torn apart and absorbed like everything else.

Doflamingo's expression darkened.

Suspended in midair, he had no ground to manipulate, no materials nearby to transform—his awakened Devil Fruit abilities were useless here.

"Excess Whip String!"

Desperation crept in as he lashed out with silk whips stretching hundreds of meters long, striking the black mass with all his might.

But it was futile. The attack barely left a mark.

On the ground below, Kuina lay exhausted, her body weak and trembling.

She whispered softly, her voice barely audible,

"It's useless, Doflamingo."

"Brother Lynch said the only way to stop this technique is to destroy the core the moment the black ball forms."

"But now, it's too late. The ball has already absorbed everything around it, forming a natural armor. You can't break it."

"Damn it!" Doflamingo's eyes burned with rage. He crushed his sunglasses in his fist, his face twisting into something feral—like a beast ready to devour its prey.

"I haven't killed those Celestial Dragons yet! I refuse to die here!"

This was his last chance.

He glanced at the massive chunk of earth rising alongside him. It was the only thing slowing his pull toward the black sphere.

Without it, he would be swallowed instantly.

No choice!

Gritting his teeth, Doflamingo activated his awakened Devil Fruit powers. The floating land beneath him unraveled, transforming into thousands of white silk threads.

"Off-White Thread Tsunami!"

Tens of thousands of threads twisted together, forming a massive spiraling vortex—like a raging tidal wave—crashing violently against the black sphere.

RUMBLE!

After the impact, the massive sphere remained. But on its surface, a gaping hole had appeared.

The massive hole in the sphere was quickly filled as debris continued to be sucked in.

Pfft!

Doflamingo slammed against the surface like a fly caught in a swatter, his entire body pinned down by crushing gravity. His bones groaned under the pressure, his face twisted in agony, and his veins bulged like writhing serpents, ready to burst.

And this was just the beginning.

"Fuh... fu... fufufu!"

At the brink of death, Doflamingo suddenly laughed.

"So this is how it ends?"

His voice was hoarse but filled with bitter amusement.

"Damn it... I refuse to die here."

"Father... Brother... is this my punishment for killing you?"

His breathing was ragged, his vision blurring.

"No! Fate? I don't believe in fate!"

"If destiny really exists, why did I have to suffer?!"

His last thoughts burned with hatred.

"Celestial Dragons... Celestial Dragons... If ghosts are real, I swear I will haunt you forever!"

A rain of boulders shot toward him, burying him beneath the ever-growing sphere.

CRACK!

A sickening series of bone-shattering sounds echoed in the air. Then—silence.

"NO!"

Gladius, locked in battle with Violet and the Liku royal family, let out a furious roar.

"Young Master! You are chosen by the heavens! You can't die here!"

"Doflamingo, you were born to be a king! One day, you were supposed to rule this sea! How... how could you die here?!"

Diamante's vision blurred, darkness clouding his mind as grief threatened to consume him. He nearly collapsed from the overwhelming sorrow.

Among Doflamingo's top officers, Diamante was one of the first to follow him. He had watched Doflamingo grow from a child into the man who nearly conquered the New World. No one understood Doflamingo's ambitions more deeply than him.

But now, that future was crumbling before his eyes.

SLASH!

Rebecca and the one-legged soldier seized the moment. Their "Backwater Sword Dance" struck Diamante down in his grief, overwhelming him completely.

"I... we did it!"

Rebecca dropped to the ground, exhausted. She ripped off her helmet, gasping for breath.

For a moment, she sat there in disbelief. If Diamante hadn't been distracted, she would have died.

Her gaze drifted to his fallen body.

"I defeated one of the devil's top officers..."

A slow, trembling smile formed on her lips—then tears came rushing in.

The one-legged soldier hopped over and gently patted her back.

He understood.

For years, Rebecca had carried the weight of fear, loss, and relentless struggle. She had endured so much.

Now, she could finally let it out.

It was okay to cry.

"YOUNG MASTER!!"

A furious roar shattered the moment.

Pica's rage erupted like an earthquake. His voice shook the battlefield as he charged, madness in his eyes.

"I'LL KILL YOU ALL!"

His target is Tashigi.
