Chapter 248 - 248 Meeting the Knight Gods For The First Time

Weir, a cp agent who eats Paramecia, the user with the ability of the striped fruit!

Weir pulled hard and Kuina was pulled down from mid-air.

Kuina looked indifferently at Weir, who was getting closer, and stretched out a hand,

"Bansho Ten'in."

Whoosh~

Weir's body was suddenly pulled in the opposite direction by an overwhelming gravitational force. His heart sank.

"Damn it! Iron Body: Steel!"

In a last-ditch effort, he tensed every muscle, coating himself in Armament Haki.

Kuina's blade pierced through him effortlessly. His pupils dimmed as she tossed his lifeless body aside.

"Who's next?"

Kuina slung Wadō Ichimonji over her shoulder and curled a finger at the remaining CP agents.

"So cool!" Sabo's eyes sparkled.

"Damn it! Little girl, don't get cocky!"

"There are thousands of us! One spit could take you down!"

"She's grounded—everyone, attack!"

"Finger Gun!"

"Overlord Flower!"

"Iron Body: Steel Fist!"

From the ground, small flowers suddenly twisted and grew into towering piranha plants, their gaping maws snapping hungrily.

"Shimotsuki Ittoryu: Troublesome Wind!"

Kuina's blade sliced through the air, splitting the monstrous plants clean in half. As the severed stalks tumbled, they crystallized into ice, shattering upon impact.

The chilling sword aura spread outward, slowing the movements of the surrounding CP agents as frost crept up their joints.

But the enemy kept coming.

Kuina tightened her grip on Wadō Ichimonji.

"Ittoryu: Gravity Slash!"

Countless attacks meant for Kuina ended up striking Wadō Ichimonji instead. She seized the opening, cutting down dozens more in an instant.

Scarlet blood dripped from her blade, but Kuina only smiled.

Sabo, watching from the sidelines, was one step away from turning into a full-fledged fanboy. What a beautiful swordswoman!

Boom!

"Your biggest mistake was fighting us on the ground!"

A massive, beast-like hand erupted from beneath and clamped around Kuina's calf.

"Wait—don't attack yet!"

"Whoosh whoosh!"

The sound of wind slicing through the air filled the battlefield. Hundreds of spinning, windmill-like blades shot toward Kuina from all directions.

Perched on a tree, a man grinned arrogantly, juggling a handful of windmills. His Windmill Fruit, a near-awakened Paramecia, could slice through even steel.

"Big sis, I got you!"

Tashigi landed behind Kuina, spreading her arms wide.

"Shinra Tensei!"

Boom!

A powerful repulsive force erupted, blasting away the incoming windmills. The spinning blades, now out of control, tore through the ranks of the CP agents—turning many of them into human meat paste.

The Zoan user who had grabbed Kuina's calf from underground was the most unfortunate. He was the closest target and was instantly crushed into a bloody pulp.

"So disgusting," Tashigi said, forcing herself to ignore the gruesome scene as she continued fighting alongside Kuina.

"What kind of ability is that?!"

"What a strange Devil Fruit!"

Since the start of the battle, the CP agents had been unable to figure out what Devil Fruits Kuina and Tashigi possessed.

Looking at their fallen comrades, the remaining CP members were starting to feel fear. Despite the number of casualties, the women were still standing strong.

When Kuina was alone, there was some danger. But with Tashigi's repulsion powers combined with Kuina's gravity control, the remaining enemies stood no chance.

Whenever an opponent or attack came close, Tashigi would use her repulsion ability to send it flying. Kuina, using gravity, would pull the enemy toward her and finish them off.

If both women targeted someone at the same time, the combination of repulsion and gravity would tear the victim apart, scattering their remains across the battlefield.

The scene below was too brutal for the two girls, and they didn't want to use their powers any further.

Meanwhile, in the clouds, Lynch encountered an enemy.

The man had a middle-parted hairstyle, wore a mask with the word "46" engraved on it, and carried a single sword.

His age was difficult to determine due to the mask, but the wrinkles on his chin suggested he was quite old.

"The legendary Emperor of West Blue, why are you here?" The man carried his long sword on his shoulder, full of hostility.

"That doesn't concern you," Lynch replied calmly, glancing at Kuina.

"Not necessarily," the man grinned evilly. "I've heard a lot about you. Please, enlighten me."

The man lowered his long sword, ready for a confrontation. "Today, it's a matter of victory or defeat, life and death!"

"Leave. I'm not in the mood to deal with you Knights of God today."

"You know about the Knights of God?" The man paused, intrigued. "What else do you know?"

"I told you to leave. Didn't you hear me?" Lynch's tone hardened, and a murderous intent started to build in his eyes.

Black lightning crackled around him, and a wave of Conqueror's Haki, stronger than most, surrounded him.

This Conqueror's... was even more intense than the boss's!

The man's body trembled, frozen by the overwhelming presence of Lynch's Conqueror's Haki. The black lightning surrounding Lynch felt like it could pierce his spine.

"I changed my mind," the man said, raising his hands in surrender. "I don't want to fight you, Lynch."

The man's face was gloomy and he left in embarrassment.

As he flew away, a woman, resembling a Nine-Tails Fox with an alluring presence, appeared and met him.

She teased him with a playful smile, "Why did you run? Didn't you want to see the strength of this little brother, haha~"

"Shut up, what do you know!" the man reprimanded, "Now is not the time to be his enemy."

"Yes, yes, you're always right," the woman replied, her eyes narrowing like crescent moons.

"It's just like the Roswarld family—big chest, no brains."

She continued, with a teasing tone, "At least the Keren family knows when to back off. Some people, however, know they can't win but still provoke others, only to end up running away in disgrace~"

"It's not like some people, who know they can't fight but still go forward to provoke others, only to escape back in despair~"

"You—!"

The man fumed, his face reddening with anger. The woman's soft, seductive voice had cut deeper than expected. He swung his sleeves in frustration before quickly leaving.

As the conversation went on, the man's temper flared. He nearly drew his sword, tempted to strike the woman down.

The woman, however, stood confidently with her hands on her hips, her chest proudly out like a victorious rooster.

"How dare you complain about someone stronger than you to the boss, I'll make sure to get you in trouble~"

"Dragon-san! Dragon, are you here?" Sabo shouted desperately, searching the island for any sign of the Revolutionary leader.

"Have you found Dragon?" Lynch asked, his voice calm as always.

After searching the island for any hiding spots, Sabo slumped against a large tree, disappointed. "No, Dragon must have already left the island."

"Don't lose hope. In that situation, it would be strange if Dragon were still here. Let's keep searching the island."

"Right!" Sabo nodded, determined. "We need to find Dragon-san quickly, in case he's injured and attacked by wild animals."
