By the time Xavier, together with Anastasia and his team had arrived at Mr. Harrison's mansion, the night had already settled in.
Fortunately, the old man wasn't careful enough. They'd managed to tail him all the way back to his mansion without being detected.
"This shouldn't take long, right?" Kace muttered, cocking his gun as he glanced at his wristwatch. "I've got a midnight date with Allison, and if I keep her waiting, I'll be sleeping on the couch for a week."
"Not at all," Xavier replied, checking the gate of the mansion. There were no security guards stationed to watch over it, which could only mean that the old man wasn't expecting their company. "Thalia should be inside."
"I've tried calling her but she's not responding. Her number is going through though," Anastasia chimed in.
Her blood was boiling with rage. Thalia was the only real family she had from the Harrison family and she wouldn't want anything to happen to her.
