Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

Someone said that you can make someone who is desperate and helpless your slave the moment you give them something that can pull them out of that situation. They will see you as their savior, or something more than that, blindly following you the moment you took them in. They're like stray dogs waiting for their owner to adopt them, feed them, make them feel like they belong in that home.

In my case, my inner circle is filled with those kinds of people–desperate, helpless, and poor people, but talented. They can't see or aren't awakened yet. However, I saw them, and I did everything to take them in. Most of it was easy, like offering food, money, and a home. But some chose to live their dirty life, like stealing, so I did what I'm very special at - plotting to make them more desperate.

It's easy when you have money.

Most worlds are no different from each other. Wherever there's currency, there's always the rich and elites controlling something behind the scenes. I don't think I'm the same. Maybe I have money, maybe I have the people, maybe I can pay the ministers of this city, maybe I control some noble houses, but I didn't do it for myself. I want to create a world where it is at peace as long as I'm alive.

And I'm Immortal.

I don't believe in bullcrap such as creating a single united world that will be at peace even after the creator dies. That's not possible. That world needs a leader who can be the symbol of peace and strength, a deterrent. Someone stupidly strong that anyone won't even have any thoughts of secession, rebellion, or accession. And the only one who can and has the ability to do that is none other than me.

What else is the reason why I was given this power and put in this world six years ago?

And to create that world, I need to remove any chaos, and what describes chaos the best is fire, specifically, the Fire Nation. I now have the money and influence to start my plans, but I still need an army—an army loyal, willing, and massive.

"Yana, how many soldiers has Hiro been training?" I caressed the woman sleeping on my lap.

"Three hundred eighty-six, daddy."

Yana is a girl who I saved from a gambling-addicted father, the father who sold her to a guy from a noble family just to have money for gambling. And as she was almost raped, I killed the guy in front of her and took her in. She saw how much I will do for her, and without anyone in this world to support her emotionally and mentally, I easily got a blind follower who will do everything I say for my validation.

She has been calling me that way since I entered a relationship with her, and I allowed it. I don't feel weird hearing it–in fact, I liked it when she said those words. Call it a fetish, but she's two years older than me, and it's erotic when an older woman calls you their daddy.

"Tell him to start recruiting more after the first unit of teachers are done."

"Yes~ I understood."

"Any development from the west frontline?"

"The Fire Nation managed to capture another major city and have surrounded thousands of troops. I heard from my spies on Ba Sing Se that they're not planning on sending reinforcements for them, and this will weaken the west frontline."

For some reason, the Fire Nation invasion has accelerated beyond what they should've during this point in time. In my estimate, they might reach Ba Sing Se around 50 years later—30 years even, if they pull out some of their forces from Southern Water Tribes and their technologies advance a little bit, but alas, they're too greedy for land and resources.

"Do you think we should start funding the rebels in the west?"

Yana is my and the Six Pillars' strategist, so I often asked her for her insight on war matters and almost all the time her ideas didn't fail.

"I do… but we have to be more aggressive in our business expansion in other cities to cushion the amount of resources needed for this."

"Hmm… have Ron do that."

"Okay, daddy! Did I do good?"

I paused for a second before wearing my best smile.

"Yeah, my baby did well," I said as I grabbed her by the armpit and made her sit on my lap.

"So what's my reward?" She whispered to my ear.

I didn't say anything as my hands slowly removed her soft clothes, then removed her bra and started sucking on her tits.

"Mhmm~ Ahh~ Slowly daddy, I'm not gonna leave~"

I removed my mouth from her nipple as I started kissing her chest, going up to her neck, her chin, on her cheek, until I reached her lips. Our lips clashed against each other, until I released my tongue and danced it inside her mouth. Yana always lets me dominate her in our sexual activities.

"Daddy, should we finally have a baby?"

It's been almost a decade since he started this conquest, they call it war, but they're wrong. The main idea for it was sharing what they have with others: advanced technologies and prosperity, however, the only thing he asked is for them to allow him to be their leader. Is it that hard to ask? They tried to fight back, but it's in vain, no one could do anything to advance their military, their logistics, their warfare, their intelligence, his leadership, and lastly, to their element. Fire is meant to be aggressive, and they all embodied that, especially him.

"Is there any news about the Avatar?" Sozin asked, fire around him brightened as his chi was drawn out by his emotions: anger, hate, anxiety.

It's been many decades since Roku died on that island, since he left his former friend to die on that island. The Avatar cycle told him that the new Avatar was going to be an Air Nomad, so he murdered all of them. He thought that with this he will have more time before the new Avatar could fully emerge and practice all elements. He thought that he could remove an element from the list by killing all who practice it, but he was wrong.

The sages told him that the Avatar Temples showed no reaction after the genocide against Air Nomads, that means the Avatar is alive and is training, that means an enemy preparing to stop him and his ambitions—an enemy who alone can threaten his whole plan into destruction.

"We have allocated more ships around the coast of the Southern Water Tribe, Fire Lord. If the Avatar really went to hide there, he will have to live in fear of being found and will have his growth slow down."

Sozin kept himself silent as a general's appointment on the Earth Kingdom was next on the line.

"For the next topic, an organization named Earthen has emerged from Omashu. My spies have learned that they have become the main suppliers of weapons for the whole Earth Kingdom and are growing rapidly. Their weapons are highly decent, but the problem is their production, which is significantly faster than our manufacturing industry."

He paused.

"And I hear from some spies that they saw some people who work for Earthen that they saw them bending metals, this seems to be a sub-element discovered by them. That's all from me, my lord."

Metal?

Sozin's eyes went into a blaze. This is really bad news for him. Fire Nation's main advantage is its war machines made of metals, such as tanks and warships, if the Earth Kingdom developed a blueprint for something similar, they might outgrow them in production really fast.

"Find out everything about this organization, its leader or who controls it, and how many of them can do this… new metal bending. Start relocating some ships in close proximity of that city and do a blockade for every non-Fire Nation ship. Any ships that don't follow, henceforth, will be viewed as a security threat and will be destroyed."

He waved his hand, and fire around him roared in acknowledgement.

"Yes, Fire Lord!"
