Ares wrenched the Godslayer Spear free from Sharky's chest.
The sound of tearing flesh echoed faintly across the ruined plains.
Blood poured down, staining the shattered stone beneath them.
Sharky's body swayed before collapsing onto one knee. His breathing grew ragged, each inhale sharp and uneven. His vision blurred at the edges, darkness creeping inward as consciousness began to fade.
Across from him, Ares stood tall, spear crackling with divine lightning.
He raised the weapon once more, its tip pointed directly at Sharky's bowed figure.
"You think this is just a weapon?" Ares said coldly, his voice carrying across the battlefield. "No, Sharky Valor… this spear holds Zeus's ultimate enchantment."
The spear flared violently.
Ancient symbols carved along its shaft ignited one after another, radiating golden light that pulsed with overwhelming authority. The air grew heavy, as though Olympus itself had descended upon the plains.
