Demeter was tending to a bed of vibrant roses, her hands moving gracefully as she pruned and arranged.
She looked younger in this past era, her spirit is less burdened, her smile brighter.
Demeter's eyes widened in surprise as she took in the sight of Sharky. His divine aura was unmistakable, and yet he was unlike any god she had encountered before.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of wariness. "I don't believe we've met."
Sharky smiled warmly, bowing his head in respect. "I am Sharky Valor," he introduced himself.
She straightened up, wiping her hands on her apron. "What brings you to Olympus, Sharky Valor?"
"I have come here to see how beautiful the Goddess of Harvest is," Sharky said, as he looked at her, "And, yes you are very beautiful."
Demeter blushed at Sharky's compliment, her cheeks turning a rosy hue. It had been so long since anyone had spoken to her with such sincerity and admiration.
