Chapter 20 - Sophia Alexander

Sharky, after getting the money, made his way through the city to the address given by Thomas.

After some travelling and looking around his surroundings, he reached the Sophia Dream Society.

Upon entering the building, he noticed everyone was busy with their own work, dealing with customers.

A sales girl approached him with a polite smile.

"Hello, sir, how can I help you?" she asked.

"I've come here to buy a villa," Sharky replied. "Mr. Thomas of the Diamond Delight recommended this place to me. He said I could get the best villa here."

The girl's eyes widened in surprise.

"Mr. Thomas recommended this place to you?" she repeated in shock. After all, Mr. Thomas was a family friend of the Sophia Dream Society's owner, and both of them had many transactions between them.

"Wait a minute," the sales agent said, "I'm calling my manager." She quickly turned and headed toward the manager's room.

Just a few seconds later, a beautiful girl walked out alongside the sales agent. Sharky looked at her with doubt.

She didn't wear the dress typical of a manager, and she was clearly very young—far too young, in Sharky's eyes, to be running a business like this.

Even though Mr. Thomas had mentioned that this housing department was opened by his friend's daughter, Sharky hadn't expected her to be this young—barely eighteen, an age more suited for a college girl.

The girl extended her hand confidently and smiled.

"Hello, Mr… I hear you were recommended by Thomas Uncle. I'm Sophia Alexander, owner of the Sophia Dream Society."

Sharky nodded, slightly taken aback, and accepted her handshake.

"I'm Sharky Valor."

As he took her hand, he noticed how soft it was—so soft, in fact, that he forgot to shake it properly. He simply held it in his grasp, still a bit stunned.

Sophia started blushing after noticing that Sharky was still holding her hand. She hesitated—part of her wanted to pull her hand back, but she also didn't want to seem rude.

With a soft smile, she asked, "May I know what type of villa you're looking for, or what kind of location you'd prefer?"

At that moment, Sharky's attention shifted to her question. Taking the chance, Sophia gently retracted her hand without making it obvious.

Sharky nodded, replying in a calm tone, "I want a villa far away from the trouble of police and gangsters. I don't want my privacy invaded by either of them."

"Okay," Sophia said, nodding thoughtfully. Then she turned to the sales agent beside her.

"Julie, please bring the data for our available houses located in premium, quiet areas."

"Okay, ma'am," Julie responded and quickly walked toward the nearby computer terminal.

Sophia turned her attention back to Sharky.

"So, Sharky, do you have any additional preferences? For example, furnished or unfurnished? And which area would you prefer—New York, Bellwood, New Jersey, Manhattan… or maybe somewhere else entirely?"

Sharky leaned back slightly, his tone relaxed.

"No, I don't have many demands. It's okay if it's in New York. A sea-facing villa would be nice though. And please—stop calling me Mr. Sharky. I find it weird."

Sophia smiled and nodded, her cheeks turning pink again.

"Okay… Sharky." The way she said his name carried a hint of warmth, as if she was slowly getting used to it.

Just then, Julie returned, carrying several thick property portfolios filled with photos of luxurious villas. Sophia took the books from her and turned back to Sharky with a professional yet friendly tone.

"Sharky, I've selected a few exquisite properties that I believe match your preferences. Would you like to see a video tour of them first, or…" she paused slightly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, "…would you prefer to visit the houses with me?"

"I'd like to visit the houses with you," Sharky said.

"Okay," Sophia nodded with a gentle smile, then led him outside to the parking area.

There, a sleek, gleaming two-seater car stood waiting. Its surface shimmered with a deep cosmic sheen, almost as if it came from a sci-fi movie.

"Wow, what brand is this?" Sharky asked, clearly impressed as he slid into the passenger seat.

"It's from the Rosie Interstellar brand," Sophia replied as she got into the driver's side. "It's my sister's brand. She designed it exclusively for royalty and high-end clientele. Not even available in regular markets yet."

"Can I drive it?" He asked.

Sophia thought for some time, then she nodded. "Ok." And she was just going to open the door to change seats.

"You don't need to get out," he said, and caught her in his arms. He then picked her up and put her on his seat, while he changed to the driving seat.

"You—" Sophia was so shocked that she didn't even realize what had just happened. And when she realized it, she was already seated on his seat.

She even remembers the touch of his hands, when he touched her waist. And also when her bum touched his lap.

She could even file a police complaint against him if she wanted. But even she didn't know why—she didn't feel so bad about it.

"What happened?" Sharky asked.

"Nothing, you just continue the ride," Sophia replied, then she set the location in the vehicle.

Sophia took Sharky to several villas, each one more magnificent than the last.

The first villa was a towering glass structure with wide balconies and an indoor waterfall. It was located in central Manhattan, surrounded by high-rise buildings and flashing billboards. The modern design was impressive, but the non stop honking and street noise bothered Sharky.

The second villa had a classic European style, with ivy-covered walls and a courtyard fountain. It was nestled in a gated community in New Jersey.

While peaceful, it still felt too close to civilization. The air buzzed with traffic, and a distant siren cut through the stillness.

The third villa sat on a cliff in Bellwood, overlooking a small park. Its wide windows offered a breathtaking view of the greenery, and the architecture was sleek, with silver and white interiors.

But again, nearby shops, kids playing, and occasional patrols made Sharky frown.

Despite the luxury, none of the villas impressed Sharky.

He looked around after stepping out of the last one, listening to the murmur of the crowd, the city hum, and the occasional bark of a dog from a neighbor's yard.

While some villas were far from the city, they were still surrounded by other villas—something Sharky didn't like. But if he couldn't find what he wanted, he could always create it himself.

"Sharky, did you like any of them?" Sophia asked. She had already shown him many villas, each with unique charm.

"Although they were good, the area is not," Sharky replied calmly. "I don't want a villa that's surrounded by others."

He wanted privacy—true privacy. He didn't want to be interrupted by neighbors or bothered by outsiders.

"It's really tough to find a villa like that," Sophia said, flipping through her property book again.

"Most of the villas are built in clusters because customers usually want to feel the presence of wealth around them—envy from others, connections with fellow rich people. That's the trend."

Sharky didn't respond, just looked out the window at the night settling over the city.

"Okay, the night has already come," Sharky finally said. "Why not show me more villas tomorrow? Just drop me at a hotel for today."

His voice held a tired tone—subtle, but enough for Sophia to notice. Even he needed rest.

"Okay," Sophia nodded. "I'll drop you at my own hotel. It's not far, and since we couldn't find anything today, we'll continue the search tomorrow."

She wasn't worried that this customer was wasting her time or pretending to buy.

Earlier, she had already confirmed with her uncle Thomas. He explained that Sharky was someone who had arrived from a distant place and was looking to settle down here.

Most importantly, he was extraordinarily wealthy—so much so that he had casually tossed a few precious diamonds like it was nothing.

That alone was enough proof: a man who treated diamonds like loose change had wealth beyond normal comprehension.

Sophia brought the car back toward her company, and after a smooth turn, she parked just across the road from their headquarters.

"I'm sorry for today's inconvenience, Sharky," Sophia said gently as she turned off the engine. "You can rest in this hotel for tonight. Don't worry about the expenses—our company will cover everything."

"Thanks," Sharky replied with a simple nod and stepped out of the car.

As he walked toward the building, Sophia followed beside him.

"This hotel also belongs to our group," she added, gesturing toward the elegant façade. "It's usually reserved for our premium clients and long-time partners. From now on, you're one of our precious guests."

She then took a card out of her jacket pocket and handed it to him. It was sleek and finely crafted, the surface smooth and cool to the touch. In the center was an embossed villa design, detailed with metallic ink, and embedded in the middle was a tiny but real diamond, glinting subtly under the streetlight.

"This is our VIP card for our VIP guest," she explained. "With this card you can easily access any hotel, and get a premium quality room. You'll get full access to our hotel's services, including private lounges, exclusive dining, and direct communication with me for any assistance."

Sharky held the card between his fingers, studying the design for a second before slipping it into his pocket.

"Why are you giving this to me?" He asked, he wasn't sure if this kind of treatment was standard for all customers or if it was just for him.

Sophia smiled softly. "Because you were recommended by Uncle Thomas. And when he sends someone our way, it usually means they're special—and serious. We take that seriously too."

"Alright then," Sharky nodded, accepting her reasoning as he reached the door to his suite. He placed his hand on the handle and turned back slightly. "Okay. Goodbye for now."

"Good night, Mr. Sharky," Sophia said politely, extending her hand for a formal shake.

Sharky glanced at her hand, then stepped forward and pulled her gently into a hug.

"You deserve more than a handshake," he said with a slight smile. "Thanks for treating me so well. See you tomorrow."

Before Sophia could fully process what had just happened, he had already stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

She stood there in silence, blinking.

"This... this just happened?" she murmured to herself, her fingers resting lightly where his arms had held her. Her cheeks flushed with a deep blush as a smile crept across her face.

Still dazed, she turned and made her way back to her car—her mind replaying that moment again and again as the night settled over the city.

---

Meanwhile, Sharky was still adjusting to his new life in this unfamiliar universe.

He also feels good with Sophia. He didn't need to hug her, but he wanted to. There was no obligation behind it—just a feeling. And frankly, who could stop him?

"Well, this was really a normal day for me," he thought as he leaned back on the soft hotel bed. "No fighting, no saving the world... just simple moments. I really liked it."

With that thought lingering in his mind, he finished his dinner quietly and drifted off to sleep—peacefully—in this different universe.

While Sharky was sleeping peacefully.

Somewhere farther from the Earth. And even farther from the Universe 613. Where the clusters of the Marvelous Universes combined in the single route to branches. Circling it, and making it Marvelous Multiverse.

In the middle of Marvelous Multiverse, a giant entity was sitting on a throne, and the most amazing thing is, his head is two heads connected together. But the two heads didn't connect to his body, levitating on the upper body.

He holds a big stick in his hands and continuously scans all the Marvelous Multiverse. But no one is able to see this giant entity. The giant entity has an intuition that something has invaded the Marvelous Multiverse. And he was searching for that anomaly.
