Chapter 153 - Chapter 152

Kuoh.

- "Let's get started. Thankfully, the atmosphere is right," I said with a smile on my face, looking at Ama-chan.

After walking around the city for a while, we stopped at McDuck, where Artoria, Medusa, and Enkidu were working, to grab a bite to eat and take a break from the summer heat. There weren't many customers, so the atmosphere was comfortable, at least for me and Kunou, who was happily munching on fast food. As for Ama-chan...

- "A kids' meal? Are you serious?" the Japanese goddess asked with obvious displeasure on her face.

- "Food is food, even if it's for kids, isn't it?" I asked and took a sip of coffee, to which she snorted and crossed her arms over her chest. "Anyway, what did you want to talk about? I'm guessing it has something to do with the Greeks."

- "It is related to them, but that's not the main topic," Ama-chan replied after a moment, slowly starting to eat. "First, we need to discuss our union. What are your plans for the yokai after we are married?"

- "What's wrong with them? Nothing will change. I'm not going to interfere in the management and everything related to it. It's too much trouble for me, just like with the Bible faction."

- "I'm glad to hear that," Ama-chan nodded. "But I want guarantees. Do you understand what I mean?"

I smiled.

- "And what might those be?"

- "Anything," Ama-chan shrugged. "But I would like a Servant from my pantheon. That would create a strong and obvious bond between us, since only you can summon Servants."

I raised an eyebrow.

Huh? How straightforward. But I have to admit, her words make sense. On the other hand, there are quite a few Servants from Japan, and I'd like to limit myself to one or two individuals. Besides, not all of them would be suitable, as some of them aren't the most intelligent. Take Shuten Doji or Ibaraki Doji, for example.

- "The list of Japanese Servants is extensive," I muttered thoughtfully. "Any preferences?"

- "Strong and, preferably, obedient. Well, or at least capable of behaving decently," she said confidently, to which I nodded briefly.

Yeah. Tamamo-no-Mae was the first to come to mind. She would be the most suitable choice. With the support of the Japanese land and Amaterasu herself, she would become someone on par with the Demon Lord. Of course, her life story was a bit murky and questionable, but her true personality made up for that.

My second choice would be Oda Nobunaga, specifically the Avenger version. Her Noble Phantasm allowed her to bend almost any god who caught Ama-chan's interest and fears. The question, however, was her character, which was similar to Gil's. However...

- "I need some time to make my choice, but everything will be fine," I said with a smile on my face. "I promise."

- "For some reason, I don't like your tone," Ama-chan said with a doubtful look on her face.

- "Hm? That's strange," I said, putting on an innocent and thoughtful expression, patting Kunou on the head, and then changing my posture as if I had been struck by an extremely bright idea. "But, come to think of it, I've heard that only children have an inexplicable sixth sense that saves their lives more than once. How interesting."

- "I'm not a child!" she exclaimed, jumping up and slapping the table. "And you just admitted to...?!

- "Don't split hairs, Ama-chan," I waved her off. "I wouldn't tease you in such an extreme way. Maybe a little, but still."

- "Yes, I'll kill you...

- "Have you eaten, Kunou-chan?" interrupting the goddess, I said to the little fox.

- "Mm-hmm," Kunou replied with a satisfied look on her face, while Ama-chan turned away demonstratively but remained silent.

- "Let's go home then. I think there's some dessert left in the fridge that Emiya made," I said, turning to the goddess. "There's enough for you too. Are you coming with us?"

- "No, I got what I wanted. I have to get back to work," Ama-chan replied and got up from the table, leaving the money for the meal, then stopped for some reason. "Oh, yes. I forgot to mention. The Greeks are still eager to meet you. Hermes will come to your house with an official invitation. After that, do whatever you want."

- "Oh? That's an interesting way of putting it, Ama-chan," I smiled, and Ama-chan shrugged.

- "I gave Zeus what he wanted from me, so what questions does he have for me?"

- "And complete freedom of action on my part, while getting some kind of bonus," I chuckled. "How cunning we are, Ama-chan."

- "Whatever happens, it's not my problem," she said and headed for the exit. "And you're an adult. You'll manage somehow."

With that, she left the establishment, and Kunou and I watched her go.

So, I have complete freedom to do whatever I want, no matter what happens in the future. That means I can go wild with the Greeks. There are only a few of them who are worthy of respect, but what about the rest? Well, that will depend on their level of hospitality, I suppose.

- "Let's go, Kunou-chan," I said, getting up from the table and holding out my hand to her. "Let's get some more ice cream on the way. I know a good place."

- "Okay!" she exclaimed happily and took my hand.

- "See you at home," I said to Medusa, who was standing at the cash register, and headed out.

Well, I wonder when Hermes will come to me, huh?

Emiya Residence.

It was evening, and I was relaxing quietly on the sofa, unfortunately alone. The reason was that Morgan, Tia, and Yasaka had not been able to reach a consensus in a couple of hours.

That's why they decided to continue their discussion at Yasaka's palace for an indefinite period of time. Yasaka, being a decent and responsible woman, didn't want to burden me with Kunou's presence, even considering the circumstances, so Kunou left with them. However, it is their decision, and they may do as they wish. It is their business, so to speak. The servants had not yet returned from work, Heracles had apparently gone fishing again, and Rea-chan was quietly hanging the washed laundry in the courtyard.

I had already closed my eyes and was about to fall asleep when I suddenly sensed the approach of divinity to my house. And, of course, there was no need to guess who had decided to visit me, but I was confused by the fact that it was not one god, but two.

The doorbell rang, and since Rea-chan was busy, I remotely opened the door, and the two gods slowly entered the house. A few seconds later, they appeared in the hallway, where I was able to see and recognize them.

It was a man and a woman. The man was Hermes, there was no doubt about that because of the aura he exuded. His features revealed cunning, intelligence, and lightheartedness. He had golden eyes and short hair of the same color, wore a white three-piece business suit, and had a polite smile and a sly look on his face.

The woman... She had long golden hair, like Hermes, expressive blue eyes, almost perfect features, full lips, and a neat nose. She was dressed in a rather revealing white dress of medium length with an open back, legs, and a deep neckline, somewhat reminiscent of a Greek tunic.

She exuded, I would say, passion or attraction, and only one goddess fit that description. And considering the look she gave me as soon as she saw me, all doubts vanished. I could literally feel her "ardent" desire for me.

- "Mr. Archiman. Is everything correct?" Hermes asked politely, still standing in the doorway and behaving rather modestly for a god, unlike his companion.

- "Yeah," I shrugged, still lying down. "Sit down, and let's get down to business. Ama-chan has already told me about you."

- "Thank you," said Hermes and sat down on the sofa opposite me, and the goddess followed him. "As I understand it, 'Ama-chan' is the goddess Amaterasu? For a mortal, such an address would be disrespectful to a goddess, but considering your power and importance, I suppose it makes sense.Э

He paused and adjusted his jacket.

- "I am Hermes, messenger of the King of the Gods and Mount Olympus. My domain is quite extensive, and as I do not wish to waste your time, I will not list them all," he introduced himself.

- "I am Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and love. I am certainly pleased to meet you, Romani Archiman," said Aphrodite with a seductive smile.

- "Yeah. You know me, so there's no point in introducing myself. So, what did the lightning-fast pimp say?" I asked indifferently, causing both Greek gods' eyes to widen in surprise.

But then Aphrodite's smile widened, apparently taking my tone as a sign of boldness or a desire to show off, while Hermes clearly became more serious, having correctly understood the meaning of my words.

I remained unperturbed and, for the sake of propriety, straightened up and then created a cup of coffee in my hand.

So, now I can listen to what they have to say. Yeah, yeah.
