HANEUL watched as Seojun walked onto the stage, followed by Taeyang, then the third and fourth ranked contestants. None of them walked back out the way they came, so he assumed they must have gone through a different door backstage after making their song choice.
Soon, it was Park Mirae's turn. Haneul was not sure exactly how long he waited for his own turn. But it felt like only a minute passed before a staff member gestured for him to go behind the divider on the stage. He knew his wait had actually been much longer. It only felt short because of how nervous he was.
He stood up and walked onto the stage. Stepping behind the divider, he saw the five stands with the song names written on them. In front of each stand was a small table with cards neatly lined up. He guessed that after choosing a song, he had to pick one card from the table in front of it.
Haneul stood in front of the stands and carefully read each of the five song titles.
