Naruto lifted him into his arms, pressing his forehead to the boy's.
"You are my sky," he whispered.
Sora squealed and reached for his mother.
The women gathered around Naruto as the sun rose higher, each placing a hand on his shoulders, chest, or face.
Their bellies were flat now.
But Naruto's eyes flicked lower as he noticed something:
Some were glowing faintly again.New life stirring.The clan… expanding.
He smiled.
Tears burned his eyes.
And he whispered:
