"Cheng Xiao, the client is throwing a party to celebrate the anniversary and would like you to present the gift then." The head of the designing team explained as he gave her the invitation.
"Yes, sir." Cheng Xiao said taking the invitation.
"You did a good job this time, keep up the good work and you will have no trouble in making a name for yourself in this industry." He complimented her.
At first when Cheng Xiao came to the designing team, he was not happy about it. In his mind Cheng Xiao was just a secretary for Mr. Xu and had no skill in designing. He had thought that she was just coming to the team to play, but all that changed when he saw the head piece she had designed.
"Thank you so much sir, I will not let you down." Cheng Xiao said and turned around to leave the office.
Cheng Xiao walked to her station and shared the news with Su Li, Su Li was so happy for her and offered her congratulations.
"We should go and shop for this anniversary." Su Li said.
"Are you going as well?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Yes, they invited Jiang Cheng." Su Li replied.
"Do you think Shen Mu will be attending?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Without a doubt. They always invite the top families in the city and Shen Mu happens to be married to one." Su Li replied.
They went back to their work and left the matter of the discussion. Although Su Li hardly ever attended these socializing events, she was going to go and support Cheng Xiao.
