In the morning Xu Kai sat on the dining table waiting for Cheng Xiao to come so they could have their breakfast together. Chen Si came in the house with the file that Xu Kai had asked him to bring when he came.
Chen Si looked around the mansion and was in awe, the house was beautiful beyond his expectations. The butler led him to the dining table where Xu Kai was seated.
"Sir, I brought the file that you requested." He said as he handed over the file.
Chen Si looked at the table and saw another plate. Was someone else coming? He wondered to himself. At the same time Cheng Xiao walked into the room and when their eyes locked, she stopped. Xu Kai looked up when he heard her footsteps stops.
"Come, breakfast in ready." Xu Kai said to her.
Xu Kai looked at Cheng Xiao who was looking at Chen Si, he looked at Chen Si who had a shocked look on his face. Could the rumors be true about her seducing the CEO? Chen Si thought to himself.
"Ms. Cheng what are you doing here?" That was the first thing Chen Si asked.
"She lives here." Xu Kai responded in a monotone.
Cheng Xiao walked over to the dining table and pulled out a chair and sat down. Xu Kai handed the toast that he had applied jam on to her, Chen Si looked at the interactions between the two that felt more like a couple.
"Did you call him over?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Yes, there is a file that I needed." Xu Kai replied.
Chen Si stood on the side in awkward as the two talked about him like he was not there.
"He is bound to find out sooner or later." Xu Kai said.
"I am not ready for that yet." Cheng Xiao said.
"Sorry!" Xu Kai apologized.
"Sit and join us." Cheng Xiao said looking at Chen Si who was frozen in shock.
"Ms. Cheng I wouldn't dare." Chen Si replied with a horrified expression.
"We are not going to bite you." Cheng Xiao said.
"Sit!" Xu Kai commanded.
Chen Si was scared out of his wits and sat down. Cheng Xiao asked one of the maids to bring another plate, Chen Si ate in silence making himself invisible to the two.
"She is my wife by the way, so don't get the wrong idea." Xu Kai said making Chen Si choke on the food.
"Xu Kai, was that really necessary." Cheng Xiao said and passed Chen Si a glass of water.
"Thank you!" Chen Si said with gratitude.
"Wait wife?" Chen Si asked in shock.
Xu Kai casted him a glance and he closed his mouth.
