After Cheng Xiao made sure that Xu Kai had worn the mask and cap, she let out a sigh of relief.
"Cheng Xiao, let's find something to eat first." Shen Mu suggested locking her hands with Cheng Xiao.
"Don't you have things to do?" Cheng Xiao asked Xu Kai.
Although she decided to use the excuse of shopping to chase him away, Xu Kai remained persistent and just quietly followed. She knew that Xu Kai hated things that wasted his time the most, which was why she came to this mall, but now it was just blowing up in her face.
"It's weekend, why would I be working on weekend?" Xu Kai asked back.
"What?" Cheng Xiao looked at him in shock.
Clearly during these seven years that she had been his assistant, every weekend she had been at his house working alongside him on documents and now she just found out that he doesn't work on weekends.
"Xu Kai I could kill you; those were my weekends." She shouted and wanted to lunge at him but was held back by Shen Mu.
Xu Kai tried to approach her, but she was ready to lunge at him again.
"Do you know how badly I needed that rest?" She asked in anger.
A whole week of her following his order and not even complaining, she would look forward to weekend where she could use the time to rest but would always be called by him to come to his house. Sometimes it would at the office, the office would be empty with just the two of them inside and she just never figured why.
"As my assistant, if I happen to be at work of course you should be at work as well." He said trying to justify himself.
"I mean that time I would be working, but now I have a wife. It's normal for me not to work on weekends and spend them with my wife right." Xu Kai spoke earning him another glare.
"I told you to stop calling me that." Cheng Xiao puffed in anger.
"Whether I stop calling you that or not, doesn't change the fact that you are my wife, so get used to it. WIFE!" Xu Kai called her wife and walked ahead leaving her fuming in anger.
"What is the punishment for murder?" Cheng Xiao turned to Shen Mu asking.
"Cheng Xiao, it is life imprisonment and beside orange doesn't look good on you." Shen Mu said patting her back to calm down.
"I really want to kill him." She said pointing in his direction.
"I know sweetie, I know." Shen Mu said stroking Cheng Xiao's back.
Cheng Xiao and Shen Mu followed him and sat down in the restaurant. Shen Mu took out a phone and sent a message to Hu Yiting.
"What do you want to eat?" Xu Kai asked Cheng Xiao handing her the menu.
Cheng Xiao took the menu and was looking through it when someone stopped at their table. Cheng Xiao looked up and saw that it was Hu Yiting.
"I came to pick this one up." He said pointing at Shen Mu, Shen Mu looked and let out a sigh of relief.
"Finally, they're killing." She said and grabbed her things.
"Cheng I really love you, but now I have to go." Shen Mu said and ushed Hu Yiting away.
Cheng Xiao looked at the spot that her friend was moments ago and looked in the direction she went in shock, her friend just abandoned her like that.
