"Nothing much, just a casual conversation," Ling Xi continued to eat her breakfast slowly and deliberately, chewing thoroughly for the benefit of her physical and mental health.
"Is that so," Ou Cheng smiled faintly, his eyes hinted at a deeper meaning, and after a slight pause, he added, "Xixi, how about we go for a walk after breakfast, to aid our digestion?"
"Fine," Ling Xi replied without turning her head.
After breakfast, as they walked together on the narrow path outside, "Xixi, you seem to not like Uncle Qiao very much," he mused contemplatively.
"Maybe you should say, he doesn't like me," Ling Xi said indifferently, looking straight ahead, "I never bother to like things that don't like me."
