Mu Rou attended quite a few fashion and literary events before the end of the year, rushing between various awards ceremonies like she was on a treadmill. Although those awards were unrelated to her, having just debuted in C City as a model, she held a certain international status and her first commercial in C City had enough influence that boosting her recognition was essential.
Her agency stepped in and secured a few consolation prizes like "Best Dressed" for her, and she also went to two events in the film and television circles as an award presenter. Though it was tiring, quite a few brands were impressed with her image and were actively negotiating with her agency for endorsements after the new year.
It was not until the day before New Year's Eve that she flew back to New York to spend New Year with her family.
