Miao Peiqin just handed her a bowl of chicken soup, then busily filled a large plate of food for Qian Sisi: "Try this, it's for vitamins, and this one is for calcium..."
In the time it took Qian Sisi to sip some soup, a small mountain accumulated in front of her. She was amazed and turned her head to Bai Cheng'an for help. But the man acted as if he didn't see it, deliberately turning his head away, showing no intention of rescuing her.
Left with no choice, Qian Sisi could only silently bury her head and eat through the ordeal.
These past couple of days, her morning sickness had improved slightly, and she always felt an emptiness in her stomach, wanting to eat something to fill it. Yet, what she wanted to eat were the strange and unusual things she usually didn't care for.
It was quite a task to get Bai Cheng'an to prepare them, but after a few mouthfuls, she would feel full and not very eager to eat more.
